TNA Wrestling has confirmed that Avery Styles, the son of WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles, will be in attendance for tonight’s Lockdown 2026 pay-per-view in Chicago.
The company announced Avery’s appearance through its official social media channels, although TNA stopped short of revealing whether he will have an official role during the show. That leaves some mystery surrounding exactly why the young wrestler will be at the event.
Avery only made his professional wrestling debut in June 2026 and has since started building experience on the independent scene, including appearances for GCW.
His name has also attracted attention in recent weeks following comments from veteran wrestler Arik Cannon, who raised concerns over Avery allegedly not helping with responsibilities during a GCW event. The situation prompted several names within wrestling to speak up in Avery’s defense, including his father AJ Styles and Cody Rhodes.
With TNA now publicly promoting Avery’s attendance at Lockdown, there could be plenty of interest in whether his presence is simply as a guest or potentially connected to something happening on the show.
TNA Lockdown 2026 takes place tonight, August 23, from Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
