Lola Vice appears to be closing in on her long-awaited move from NXT to WWE’s main roster, with preparations reportedly already underway for her arrival.
According to TRNBCKL, WWE has filmed a series of vignettes designed to introduce Vice to the main roster audience. The current expectation is that the former NXT Women’s Champion will become part of the SmackDown roster.
False Finish has also reported that the promotional videos are expected to begin airing on WWE television over the next several weeks, suggesting Vice’s official arrival may not be too far away.
Vice has not competed since the August 4, 2026 episode of NXT, where she faced Kendal Grey in an NXT Underground match for the NXT Women’s Championship. That appearance increasingly looks to have been the final chapter of her run as a regular member of the NXT roster.
Her commitments with AAA also appear to have wrapped up ahead of the potential promotion. Vice and Mr. Iguana lost the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship to La Hiedra and Laredo Kid at Verano de Escándalo on July 25.
Vice joined WWE in the summer of 2022 after transitioning from mixed martial arts. Competing under her real name, Valerie Loureda, she previously built a 4-1 professional MMA record during her time with Bellator.
Her WWE career reached a major milestone at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 4, 2026, when she captured the NXT Women’s Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Kendal Grey and then-champion Jacy Jayne.
During her reign, Vice successfully defended the championship against Jayne, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame and La Hiedra before Grey eventually ended her run with the title at NXT Great American Bash.
With vignettes reportedly completed and SmackDown believed to be her destination, attention now turns to how WWE will introduce Vice and where she will fit into the blue brand’s women’s division.
