These winner's will have Title shots due for any time up to a whole year!
We start with the SmackDown MITB match!
Kofi Kingston. Dolph Ziggler. Christian. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes. Matt Hardy. Drew McIntyre. Kane. Big Show.
SmackDown MITB match!
Ladders surround the ring as expected and this one begins with an all out brawl. Cody Rhodes sets up a ladder and starts climbing as the majority of superstars brawl to the outside. Rhodes goes up a rung or two, but Big Show slaps him down and Rhodes rolls out of the ring. Big Show knocks Kane out of the ring and then tries to climb, but the rung breaks and he simply can't climb this kind of ladder. He then picks up the ladder and throws it on his opponents on the outside. Show goes to ringside and his opponents then all bundle him to try and put the big man down. McIntyre picks up a ladder and sets it against the ropes at ringside and then slingshots Christian into it. McIntyre then gets into the ring and sets up a ladder to climb halfway until Matt Hardy takes him down. Hardy climbs, but Christian comes in and they go back and forth for a while. Dolph Ziggler then tries to climb, but Kofi comes in and they have an exchange. Cody goes up again and so does Christian and they have an exchange on top of a ladder in the middle of the ring. Christian knocks Cody off, but then Matt Hardy comes in to topple the ladder and knock Christian off. Kane comes in and Hardy and Christian then double team the Big Red Machine by sandwich him in two ladders. Christian and Hardy back and forth again, and Christian climbs as Hardy is down, but Cody Rhodes then tilts Christian off a ladder onto Big Show on the outside. Kofi does the Trouble In Paradise on Kane and Matt Hardy does the Twist of Fate on him as well. McIntyre then comes in to clean the ring. Kane then targets Drew and fights him to the outside to then take apart the Spanish announcers table. McIntyre fights off Kane, but then Kofi hits McIntyre with the Trouble In Paradise to have him land on his back on the Spanish announcers table. Kofi sets up a ladder at ringside and goes up high above McIntyre and *Boop* *Boop* Kofi does the Boom Drop off the ladder onto Drew McIntyre and through the Spanish announcers table. Ziggler in the ring goes up a ladder to go after the Briefcase. Big Show pushes the ladder over and catches Ziggler upon him fall to then nail him with a chokeslam! Kane comes in and he and Show exchange. Show backs Kane into a corner and squishes him with a ladder. Christian and Matt Hardy then come in to target Show with a ladder, but this backfires and Big Show ends up flooring both of them. Now is the time for Show to bring in the reinforced ladder. He goes to get it from under the ring and he struggles with the weight, but eventually manages to get the ladder into the ring. As he starts to climb it Cody Rhodes comes in to whack him in the ankle with a ladder. Cody climbs but then Ziggler comes in to perform an electric chair! Ziggler goes to climb the ladder, but Show takes him down. Hardy and Show then have an exchange and Kofi comes in to springboard off the top rope and onto the ladder, but Show stops him only to get DDT'd. Kofi climbs again and then Cody Rhodes jumps off the top turnbuckle to dropkick him off. Ziggler comes in to Zig-Zag Cody toward the still standing reinforced ladder. Big Show gets up to clean house once again. Show climbs halfway, but Kane topples the huge ladder over and Show goes humpty dumpty over the top rope and to the outside! All the superstars then throw ladders onto Big Show's body (about six we think). In the ring the superstars have an exchange and the race is on to go up the reinforced ladder and reach for the Briefcase. Most guys get knocked to ringside and Kane and Ziggler end up fighting it out until Kane throws Ziggler onto the ladders at ringside which are still on Big Show. Kane then ends up going to ringside, duelling with Kofi and chokeslamming him on the ladders and onto Big Show once again. Kane then chases Cody Rhodes up the ramp and ends up throwing Cody into an armoured vehicle that is part of the stage structure. Back in the ring it's Matt Hardy going up the ladder and Christian chases him up. They both end up toppling and we're back to square one. Drew McIntyre though is stirring after going through that table earlier. He gets toward the top of the ladder and gets his fingers on the Briefcase only for Kane to come up and chokeslam him off and get that Briefcase for himself.
Winner: Kane!
Sheamus is interviewed backstage and asked by Josh Matthews of his actions on Monday Night RAW when he came to Cena's aid. Sheamus says that he understands that if Nexus can attack John Cena, then he can also target him too. Sheamus though goes onto say that he doesn't believe that he's had the respect that he deserves and tonight John Cena is going to find out that Nexus may be a threat, but Sheamus is a bigger one.
Eve vs. Alicia Fox (c)
Diva's Title match
Eve starts on top and the diva's exchange well. They squabble on the outside and Alicia pushes Eve spine first into the apron and then drags her into the ring to get a near fall. Alicia Fox toys with Eve and then proceeds to dominate her by slowing the pace down. She then does a backbreaker and gets another near fall. Alicia slows the pace again, but Eve gets some momentum after flipping Alicia Fox over. Eve tries putting a suplex on Fox, but her back gives way. Eve's on top, but only just and she gets another near fall. Eve then goes high risk to perform a flipping senton from the middle rope, but Alicia Fox gets her knees up and hurts Eve's back some more. Alicia gets up to nail her version of the scissor-kick and this one's over.
Winner and still Champion: Alicia Fox.
We see a recap video of what happened during the Jack Swagger/Kane exchange on this past Friday's SmackDown.
In a cell phone segment backstage Jack Swagger is talking to his Mom and he disrespectfully tells her that his Father got what he deserved and that he is trying to focus on his match with Rey Mysterio tonight.
Jimmy and Jey Uso w/ Tamina vs. Tyson Kidd and DH Smith w/ Natalya (c)
Unified Tag Title match
The Hart Dynasty start on top with DH Smith doing well and then tagging in Tyson. The Uso's though get back into it and do some good tag team work. Tyson tags out and DH Smith comes in to get floored by The Uso's again. They're on top, but after a back body drop DH Smith crawls over for a tag, but Jimmy Uso interrupts the attempted tag. Jimmy spends some time on top until DH flips Jimmy over his shoulders in a quick belly to belly. Tyson is tagged and he comes in to do well against Jey who is also tagged. Tyson manages to get an excellent pin attempt on Jey, but a blind tag is made and then The Uso's perform an Alley-Uss *phonetic* Alley-Ooos (Alley-ooped Tyson Kidd into a Samoan Drop). There is another exchange and DH Smith becomes legal to have Jimmy down for a Sharpshooter. Tamina tries to get involved, but Natalya drops her and performs a body slam at ringside and DH Smith completes the victory as The Uso's submit.
Winners and retaining Champions: The Hart Dynasty.
Recap video of the Rey/Swagger rivalry tells us that Swagger's been targetting Rey's ankle and that the master of the 6-1-9 is most definately not 100% tonight.
Jack Swagger vs. Rey Mysterio (c)
Two-time Champion Rey Mysterio against one-time Champion Jack Swagger. The commentary team talk up Rey's injury as the match gets underway and Swagger automatically goes after Rey's ankle. The two have a shoving contest in the corner and Swagger again tries to get an ankle-lock on early. Mysterio does well to kick at Swagger to keep him at bay, but Swagger manages to put Rey in the tree of woe in the corner. Swagger doesn't hit his foloow-up move and falls to the outside and Rey goes up to hit a seated senton from the top turnbuckle onto Swagger on the outside. Back in the ring the two exchange and then after a belly to belly suplex from the middle turnbuckle on Rey, Swagger gets on top and continuously focusses on the left ankle of Rey Mysterio. Rey is down in the middle of the ring and Jack Swagger puts on a modifed knee-bar to add pressure on the injury of Mysterio. Rey tries getting some momentum but Swagger floors him for a Two count. Swagger goes for his version of a Vader-Bomb but misses and Rey gets back into the match. Rey then performs a modification of RVD's split-legged moonsault (without the splits) and nails it on Swagger. The match goes back and forth and Swagger manages to get his Gutwrench Powerbomb on Rey. One, Two... a near fall! This match continues and Swagger goes shoulder-first toward Rey who's by the corner, but Mysterio gets out the way and the All American American goes thudding into the turnbuckle. Rey tries to get on top, but Swagger has him on his shoulder as he stands on the middle rope. He goes to perform a move, but Mysterio turns it into a DDT! Rey gets a Two count and Mysterio then does half the 6-1-9, but as he comes off the springboard Jack Swagger catches Rey and turns it into an ankle lock. The two exchange with Rey trying to escape the ankle lock and he eventually does. Mysterio's boot slips off a-la Eddie Geurerro and Rey gets Swagger on the middle rope. 6-1-9 fully completed and Rey Mysterio retains!
Winner and still World Champion: Rey Mysterio!
After the match Swagger attacks Rey again out of frustration and he puts on the ankle lock as the crowd boo. Kane though comes to Rey's rescue and battles Swagger all the way up the ramp and backstage. Rey's music hits again and he celebrates... *BOOM* the familiar explosion of Kane's pyro on the stage and the Big Red Machine walks forth with a referee in tow and the SmackDown Money In The Bank Briefcase in hand. Kane cashes in his contract right now!
Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Kane
Rey is still down from Swagger's attack and Kane throws some hits towards Rey's ankle and then chokeslams Rey right to hell before defeating him with a Tombstone! One... Two... Three.
Winner and new World Heavyweight Champion: Kane!
Edge watches Kane on a widescreen backstage and then he and Jericho converse about how desperate each of them are to become Champion that they both plan to do what Kane did tonight and win Money In The Bank to cash in for the Title.
Kelly Kelly w/ Tiffany vs. Layla w/ Michelle McCool (c)
Women's Championship match
Layla tries to throw Kelly into the corner, but Kelly comes back with a Lou Thezs Press. The two then exchange slaps before Kelly dumps Layla to ringside. Kelly goes after her, but Layla decks her on the apron to take control. She stalks "smelly Kelly" in the ring and then targets her leg while interlocking her under the bottom rope. Michelle McCool then mocks Kelly, but Layla inadvertently dropkicks Kelly from the apron onto Michelle on the outside. Michelle is okay though and she then attacks Kelly Kelly as Layla destracts the referee. Michelle sits high and mighty upon the barricade, but Kelly gets up to push her into the front row. Back in the ring Kelly performs the K2 after an exchange and gets a cover, but only to have it desturnbed by Michelle again. The diva's go back and forth in the ring. Kelly and Tiffany then finally both floor Michelle at ringside. Kelly Kelly gets in on top, but Layla performs the sunset flip to pick up the victory.
Winner and still Champion: Layla.
As ladders get set up the commentary team of Striker, King and Cole talk about the SmackDown MITB match from the opening of the pay-per-view. Kane set a record for cashing in within the quickest time and now we are ready for the RAW Money In The Bank match.
Randy Orton. The Miz. Mark Henry. Ted DiBiase w/ Maryse. John Morrison. Chris Jericho. Evan Bourne. Edge.
RAW MITB match!
Edge when he entered put a ladder in the ring, but then when the bell rang he exited the ring. After a face-off all seven of the remaining competitor's go at it. Edge then quickly goes up that very ladder, but Orton is the man who stops him. The two of them tustle to the outside. DiBiase gets into the ring and has a ladder exchange with John Morrison and DiBiase ends on top. He then knocks Orton off the apron with the ladder. As he turns around though Evan Bourne dropkicks the ladder into his face. Miz comes in to throw Bourne to the outside. Jericho comes in to stop Miz going up a ladder and then he and Miz have an exchange. Mark Henry then throws a ladder at both of them. Mark Henry targets Miz and does well to perform the through the ropes manuver that he does (can't remember what it's called. It's where Miz is hung on the middle rope and Henry goes agains the far ropes and then back over Miz to go through the ropes and land on his feet on the outside). Orton meanwhile uses a ladder in his favour to perform his patented DDT. The match goes back and forth and we're back in the ring with DiBiase and Miz double teaming Morrison. Morrison though drop-toe-holds Miz onto a ladder which is placed by the turnbuckles. After an exchange Morrison, Edge, Jericho and Orton are up two ladders, but Mark Henry uses his strength to stand in between the ladders and topple then each way. Carnage everywhere as Bourne then comes in to use a ladder to spring himself off and go flying into Henry. Nobody is in the ring and Maryse checks on DiBiase. She then gets into the ring and goes up a ladder! She is in touching distance, but Morrison stops her and she then destracts Morrison for Ted to climb, but that doesn't work either. Back and forth and back again the match goes and it's John Morrison and Edge that are putting on an excellent show. After some time Edge sets up a ladder, but Ted DiBiase comes in to stop his climb. DiBiase then decks Jericho and Orton. DiBiase then sets up three ladders in a perculiar position. He climbs the one under the Briefcase and climbs only to be stopped by Mark Henry. Jericho comes in, but to no avail. Henry then climbs the ladder, but Evan Bourne comes in to climb up him! Edge and Orton take the two of them down and as Henry falls to the outside, the former team of Rated RKO take Bourne up together and throw him to Mark Henry on the outside who catches him and performs the World's Strongest Slam. Morrison kicks Henry, then Jericho Codebreakers Henry and then Edge Spears Mark Henry. After another hectic exchange we're back in the ring with about six of the eight competitor's and we have tustles with ladders as well as Orton RKO'ing Edge. Morrison and Jericho go for a climb, but then Orton RKO's Morrison only to get Air Bourned in the same motion! Craziness! Evan Bourne then goes for the climb and he has both hands on the RAW MITB Briefcase! Jericho though manages to climb and knock him down. Edge gets back into it to destroy Jericho's momentum. Orton comes in and RKO's Jericho off the ladder. Randy Orton pushes Edge off and then goes up and he too has both hands on the Briefcase but then it's The Miz who comes in to push Orton down, reset the ladder and The Miz is RAW's Mr Money In The Bank!
Winner: The Miz!
After the match Miz gets on the mic and says that this victory is proof that he's "made it." He says that he's now a future WWE Champion! The crowd don't like it and are quiet during Miz's speech. Michael Cole though thinks Miz is awesome on commentary as they go through highlights of the match.
Build-up of Cena vs. Sheamus is focussed on Nexus.
John Cena vs. Sheamus (c)
Steel Cage WWE Title match
The two competitor's lock it up and right off the bat Sheamus tries to ram Cena's face into the structure of the cage. Sheamus gets on top and floors Cena and then corners him. Sheamus puts on an Irish whip from one corner to another, but Cena reverses and follows up with a clothesline. Sheamus though does well to get on top again and he does manage to ram Cena into the cage. Cena though is urgent in his approach and tries to power back into it, but an elbow to the jaw by Sheamus brings the Celtic Warrior some time. Sheamus then grinds Cena's face into the mesh of the cage. Cena gets back into it with a backdrop. The match continues and goes back and forth with the two superstars throwing haymakers at one another. Cena goes for one of his shoulder blocks, but Sheamus moves out the way and Cena goes flying into the cage. Sheamus follows with a cover and gets Two. Another exchange with Sheamus still on top and Sheamus gets another cover. Sheamus then goes to climb the cage, but Cena follows and this exchange ends with John Cena superplexing Sheamus off the top turnbuckle. Cena rolls Sheamus over and gets a Two count. Cena is suddenly in the driving seat, but as he goes for his signature, Sheamus quickly turns it into a DDT. The Cenation is chanting his name, but Sheamus is on top and throws him down with an axe-like hammer to take Cena down and get a near fall. He does this again and gets another near fall. Sheamus slows the pace down with a sleeper hold. Cena then gets up with Sheamus on his back and then climbs the turnbuckle. Sheamus drops down and pulls Cena down as well. Sheamus then tries tries to climb up and out the other side and then Cena pulls him down for Sheamus to land on the rope. Cena then gets Sheamus with his selection of moves that lead to the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena then tries to perform the Attitude Adjustment, but Sheamus grabs the cage and then tries to climb up. Cena knocks him down and as Cena goes up, Sheamus knocks him down too and then ties him into the middle/top rope. Sheamus then climbs up Cena and then up the cage. Cena gets free, climbs with Sheamus and then performs the one-handed bulldog back down to the mat. After the two of them finally get up John Cena tries again for the Attitude Adjustment, buy Sheamus hits him with the Irish Curse backbreaker. Sheamus then hit's his famous Brogue Kick and then gets a Two as John Cena kicks out! Sheamus then considers climbing the cage, but instead goes for the Celtic Cross, but Cena turns it into the Attitude Adjustment! One! Two! - Sheamus kicks out! Sheamus kicks out! Both men are down, but then we have Nexus members come down to the ring. The crowd boo and it seems that Nexus have bolt-cutters. One of the referee's at ringside take the cutters and sprint to the back. Nexus then bully the next referee for the keys, but he throws them into the crowd! Meanwhile after a quick exchange the ref in the ring gets inadvertently taken out and Cena manages to put on the STF on his opponent - and Sheamus taps! The ref is down though so Cena climbs the cage. Nexus are also climbing and they prevent Cena exiting! On the other side Sheamus is up and he climbs only to be stopped on that side by Heath Slater. Slater though fails and it's Sheamus who escapes the cage first! Sheamus wins!
Winner and still Champion (only just): Sheamus!
Sheamus quickly grabs his Title and escapes through the crowd. Cena then takes out Darren Young, clotheslines Michael Tarver and then throws the steel stairs at Tarver's head as the rest of Nexus are nowhere to be seen.
