UNIFIED WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: The Miz & Big Show (c) vs. John Morrison & R-TruthR-Truth makes his way to the ring first for his usual entrance, walking down the entrance aisle rather than through the crowd like he usually does. John Morrison follows with his entrance, followed by the entrance of champions The Miz & The Big Show. The bell rings, and the match is underway with Miz and Morrison starting the match. Miz starts to get an early offensive on Morrison, but is hit with a dropkick from Morrison and gets a two-count on Miz. Morrison then tags in R-Truth, who hits Miz with a top rope move and gets a two count of his own. Miz then tags in Big Show, who nails R-Truth with a fallaway slam. Show then pushes Morrison off the apron with one hand before taking down R-Truth. Show then tries going to the top rope but it met with a head kick by Morrison, and Show falls off the top rope. R-Truth then tags Morrison back in as Show tags in Miz. Morrison takes Miz down and goes for the Starship Pain, but Show pulls Miz out of the ring. Show then pushes R-Truth into the ringpost outside. Back in the ring, Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Morrison counters and takes Miz down. Show then tags himself in and uses his "knockout punch" on Morrison for the three-count.
Winners and STILL Unified WWE Tag Team Champions: The Miz & Big Show TRIPLE THREAT MATCH: Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Ted DiBiaseTed DiBiase comes out first, followed by Cody Rhodes, who comes to the ring with his old entrance music. Randy Orton comes out to the ring last. He stops for a few seconds in the ring as Rhodes and DiBiase appears to be talking strategy to one another. The bell rings, and we're underway. Rhodes and DiBiase start to slowly stalk Orton before Orton strikes them both. Back to the same position, as Orton then rolls out of the ring, then back in to clothesline DiBiase. Orton then takes Rhodes down before he is dropkicked by DiBiase. Rhodes and DiBiase then begin to double-team Orton. They begin stomping at Orton's hands, legs, and upper body. DiBiase then holds Orton as Rhodes then begins beating on him, and vice versa. DiBiase slaps the back of Orton's head, but DiBiase retaliates with a shot of his own before he and Rhodes hit a double-suplex on Orton. Rhodes and DiBiase then begin taunting Orton before beating him down in the corner. DiBiase begins choking Orton with his boot before Rhodes gets in some shots of his own. They then whip Randy into the opposite corner, but Orton fights back before being clotheslined again by DiBiase.
Rhodes and DiBiase then take down Orton again with DiBiase hitting a clothesline and Rhodes hitting an obviously-botched chop block. DiBiase then goes for the cover on Orton, but is pulled off by Rhodes and thrown from the ring. Rhodes hits an Alabama Slam on Orton, but DiBiase is in to break the count. DiBiase and Rhodes then begin arguing before they start to brawl. The action moves outside the ring, then back in as Rhodes mounts DiBiase and hits some punches. DiBiase reverses as Orton gets back to his feet. DiBiase rushes Orton but is dropped out of the ring before Orton again takes Rhodes down. Orton powerslams Rhodes before hitting him with his signature backbreaker. Orton signals for the RKO, but then rushes out of the ring to go after DiBiase, who has been busted open. Rhodes then flies over the top rope to get Orton, but instead hits DiBiase. Orton then prepares to DDT DiBiase, but as Rhodes tries getting into the ring, Orton catches him as well and hits them both with the maneuver. Orton starts pounding the ring, but then looks at Rhodes sympathetically. Orton gets to his feet and begins looking at the crowd. He then steps away from Rhodes and hits him with the punt kick. DiBiase then sneaks in and locks in the Million Dollar Dream and goes for Dreamstreet, but Orton counters into the RKO for the win.
Winner: Randy Orton We now go backstage to Josh Mathews, who is set to interview Vickie Guerrero, Layla, Alicia Fox, Maryse, and Michelle McCool. Vickie shoves Josh aside and says that tonight will mark her first WrestleMania. She says that tonight she will create a moment that will live on forever. She then motions Jillian to come in, who begins "singing". The women walk away, then Santino Marella walks in. Jillian stops singing, and says that WrestleMania is brought to you by Slim Jim. He takes a bite, and Jillian turns into Mae Young, who kisses Santino. He takes another bite, and Mae turns into Gene Okerlund, who asks "who did you expect?". Santino takes one more bite, and Okerlund turns into Melina, who walks off with Santino after saying "anything's possible"
MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: Kofi Kingston vs. Evan Bourne vs. Christian vs. Jack Swagger vs. MVP vs. Kane vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Matt HardyKofi Kingston makes his way to the ring first, followed by MVP, Evan Bourne, Jack Swagger, Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy, Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Kane, and Christian. The action gets underway quickly as McIntyre and Hardy hits their finishing maneuvers. McIntyre is in the corner as MVP hits a huge running boot on him, sending McIntyre out of the ring. The ladder is then set up, and numerous stars begin trying to climb it, with Bourne almost getting the briefcase before being taken down. Hardy and Swagger then attempt to go after the case, but the ladder is pushed over by Christian and Hardy and Swagger are sent into the top rope. Christian then sets up the ladder but is stopped by Ziggler. Ziggler tries climbing the ladder but is stopped by MVP, who is then stopped by Kane. MVP and Benjamin then ram the ladder into Kane in the corner. Kofi then comes in and runs up the ladder and begins pounding on Kane, who then powerbombs Kofi into the ladder. McIntyre then tries bringing a ladder into the ring, but Benjamin is there to dropkick the ladder into McIntyre's face. Benjamin then tries climbing the ladder but is taken down by Bourne.
Swagger is then sandwiched in-between a ladder by Christian and Hardy, who each have ladders of their own and are hitting Swagger with them. Christian and Hardy then begin climbing the ladder, along with Bourne. Christian then takes Hardy off the ladder before Bourne takes down Christian and hits him with a Shooting Star Press. Bourne then begins climbing, but Hardy follows and takes Bourne down with an arm drag from the top of the ladder. Hardy then goes for the case but Swagger takes Hardy down, causing Hardy's back to crash into another ladder. MVP then climbs the ladder but is met by Benjamin, who knocks him off. Benjamin then tries climbing again, but MVP again grabs him, but Benjamin takes them both over the top rope. Kane then grabs a ladder and takes Benjamin and MVP down. Kane gets into the ring and starts to climb the ladder, but is met by Ziggler. Ziggler climbs over Kane and nearly gets the case but Kane gets him off. Kane attemps to throw the ladder at Ziggler, but he gets out of the way and the ladder nearly hits some of the ringside fans.
Kane then chokeslams Ziggler on another ladder before using it to assault Ziggler. Kane gets another ladder, but Kofi is back in the ring and hits Kane with the Trouble in Paradise. Kofi then gets a broken ladder and uses it as stilts and begins climbing to the case until McIntyre comes in and takes Kofi down. McIntyre then gets another ladder and begins climbing and nearly gets the case before Hardy quickly climbs the ladder. McIntyre takes Hardy down, but Hardy pushes the ladder over and crotches McIntyre on the top rope. Hardy then begins climbing the ladder, but is met by Kane, who has another ladder. Hardy kicks him away, and Christian then takes the other ladder from Kane. Hardy comes extremely close to getting the case but Christian stops him. Kane then sets up a ladder and starts to chokeslam both Hardy and Christian, but they both take Kane down. Hardy and Christian are now fighting on top of the ladders, but Hardy takes Christian down with a Twist of Fate from the top of the ladders. Christian then begins climbing, but Swagger comes into the ring and tries taking Christian down, but Christian gets to another ladder, but is met by Swagger. Swagger tries unhooking the hook, then finally does, winning the match.
Winner: Jack Swagger Highlights from last night's Hall of Fame induction ceremony are shown, and Howard Finkel is then in the ring to introduce the class of 2010, who makes their way out onto the stage: The Hart Family (representing the late Stu Hart), Wendi Richter, Mad Dog Vachon, Antonio Inoki, Bob Uecker, Betty Wagner (representing the late Gorgeous George), and "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase
Triple H vs. SheamusSheamus makes his way to the ring first and is met with boos from the fans. Triple H comes to the ring next with a big pop from the fans. The bell rings, and we're underway. HHH and Sheamus lock up, and HHH is taken to the corner. Sheamus shoves him and begins trash-talking. The two lock up again, and this time Sheamus is taken to the corner and slapped in the face. HHH then hits Sheamus with a few right hands before being whipped into the ropes. HHH goes for the Pedigree, but Sheamus powers out of it and backs away. Sheamus hits HHH with a knee and stiff right-hand shot, taking HHH down. Sheamus whips HHH into the corner, but HHH comes back and hits him with a clothesline, suplex, and knee shot before getting a two-count. Sheamus then leaves the ring, but HHH follows and throws Sheamus' head into the ringside barrier before getting him back into the ring. HHH then locks in the figure four leglock on Sheamus, but Sheamus gets to the ropes and leaves the ring. HHH follows but is thrown into the steel steps by Sheamus, who gets back into the ring as the referee begins his ten-count. Sheamus then leaves the ring and tosses HHH into the ringside barrier. He then gets HHH partially back into the ring and hits a stiff forearm shot. Back in the ring, Sheamus hits a massive backbreaker on HHH not once, but twice. HHH is then taken to a corner and Sheamus begins hitting knee shots into HHH's head before then hitting him with some stomps. Sheamus stops, then goes back on the assault. Sheamus then hits HHH with an axe handle to the head and gets a two count. Sheamus goes for another cover and gets another two count. Sheamus then gets HHH in a crossface-like maneuver before hitting him with a powerslam and another two-count. Sheamus then gets HHH in a headlock, but HHH fights out of it and takes Sheamus down. Sheamus gets back to his feet and tries assaulting HHH in the corner, but is kicked. Sheamus then picks up HHH, but HHH counters into a DDT.
Sheamus and HHH then begin exchanging shots before Sheamus is whipped into the ropes, but Sheamus counters and takes him down. HHH then hits a high knee and facebuster for another two-count. HHH goes for the Pedigree, but Sheamus gets out of it. HHH then kicked Sheamus into the corner and hit him with a neckbreaker. HHH then goes to the top rope, but Sheamus goes for his crucifix powerbomb. HHH counters but is then hit with the big boot from Sheamus. Sheamus goes for the cover, but only gets a two-count. Sheamus goes for his powerbomb again, but HHH counters with a spinebuster for another two-count. Sheamus is on the apron then kicks HHH in the head, but when he gets back in the ring, HHH hits him with the Pedigree for the win.
Winner: Triple H MYSTERIO MUST JOIN THE STRAIGHT EDGE SOCIETY IF HE LOSES: CM Punk vs. Rey MysterioCM Punk makes his way to the ring first, accompanied by Luke Gallows and Serena. Punk has a microphone, and as he walks to the ring, he puts down the crowd as being over 70,000 weak-minded individuals who think that Rey Mysterio is a superhero because they're hyped up on hallucinogenic drugs. Punk says he is a savior and says he can save Mysterio. Punk says he will lead everyone by example because he is drug free and because he is better than the fans. Punk says that Mysterio doesn't have a choice tonight because Mysterio will join the Straight Edge Society and once that happens, the fans will join as well. Mysterio's music then hits, but he doesn't come down the entranceway at first. He finally appears and makes his way down to the ring in an Avatar-inspired outfit. The bell rings and we're underway. Gallows and Serena try distracting the referee, and when Punk goes for Mysterio, he gets out of the way.
Punk ties Mysterio up in a tree of woe. Punk then distracts the referee, allowing Serena to get involved by pulling on Mysterio's head. Punk tries sliding at Mysterio, but Mysterio gets out of the way and Punk is crotched in the corner. Mysterio goes for a diving move on Punk, but Punk counters and slams Mysterio's head into the steel steps. Mysterio makes it back into the ring, as Punk goes for a cover and gets a two-count. Mysterio then fights back, but is whipped into the corner by Punk. Mysterio counters and Punk tries throwing him over the top rope. Mysterio lands on the apron and nails Punk in the midsection. Punk then tries going for a rollup, but Mysterio counters and tries kicking Punk, but Punk counters and tries rolling up Mysterio again. Mysterio gets up and is kicked in the back. Punk gets another two-count and keeps trying to cover Mysterio, but keeps getting two-counts. Mysterio then hits an amazing top-rope DDT on Punk. Mysterio goes for the 619, but Punk catches him and attempts the GTS, but Mysterio counters, gets to the apron, and kicks Punk in the chest. Mysterio goes to the top rope and goes for a frogsplash. Punk gets out of the way and gets another two-count. Punk starts getting angry, as do Gallows and Serena. Mysterio is in the corner, and Punk hits him with a high knee. Mysterio goes for the 619 but Serena gets on the apron to protect Punk. Mysterio runs toward the ropes again, but Gallows is there. Punk then goes for the GTS again, but Mysterio counters into a hurricanrana, causing Punk to knock Gallows off the apron. Mysterio then hits the 619 and a splash for the win.
Winner: Rey Mysterio NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH: Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahonBret Hart makes his way to the ring first with a HUGE pop from the crowd, and is wearing a leather jacket, his new "Hitman" shirt, and a pair of jean shorts instead of his usual pink and black wrestling attire we've grown accustomed to seeing him in over the years. Vince McMahon then makes his way to the ring, but has a microphone. He poses on the stage before telling Hart that he's in McMahon's ring at McMahon's greatest creation. McMahon says that Hart deserves a WrestleMania-sized screwing. McMahon says he dished out a bunch of money and bought a bunch of lumberjacks, one of which will be a guest referee for the match. McMahon says to remember that Bret Screwed Bret and Vince Screwed Bret, then says that Bret's entire family screwed Bret. The entire Hart family, including the Hart Dynasty, then walk to the ring with Vince's music playing.
The Hart family then surround the ring as McMahon enters it. Bruce Hart then enters the ring and removes his shirt to reveal a referee shirt underneath. He hugs McMahon and shakes hands with some of the family. Bret then says he can't believe it, but what's done is done. Bret says everyone must have been paid up front. Bret says there's one thing he learned from the screwjob, and that's that there is nothing sweeter than a good double-cross. Bret tells McMahon that the Hart family is united tonight, and that he was told ahead of time what McMahon had planned, and that WrestleMania would be remembered as the event where Bret Screwed Vince! . Bruce then calls for the bell to ring, and Bret then goes after McMahon by taking him down. Bret hits a few more stiff shots before getting McMahon into the corner and stomping on him. McMahon is then out of the ring and is then attacked by Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith. They hold McMahon, who is then slapped by Natalya. The Hart Dynasty then continue hammering away at McMahon. Smith then holds McMahon in the air as Kidd dives off the top rope to take McMahon down.
Some of the Hart family members then toss McMahon back into the ring as Bret goes back on the attack, going after McMahon's leg and upper body. McMahon rolls back out of the ring and tries crawling under it, but is pulled out. McMahon then has a crowbar and holds off some of the Hart family members. McMahon gets back into the ring and tries hitting Bret with the crowbar, but Bret counters and takes him down. Bret then gets the crowbar and begins pounding away at Vince with it. Bret then pulls off a move with the crowbar where it appears he has stabbed McMahon in the neck with it. Bret then starts to apply the Sharpshooter on McMahon, but then stops and is handed the crowbar from outside the ring. He uses it to again assault McMahon. Bret then grabs McMahon's legs and hits his with a low blow not once, but twice as McMahon continues to beg for mercy. Bret then begins kicking McMahon's midsection.
David Hart Smith then hands Bret a steel chair. Bret unfolds it and sits down to watch McMahon writhe in pain. Bret then gets up, picks up the chair, and repeatedly hits McMahon in the upper body with it. Bret then uses the chair to hammer at McMahon's legs before going right back to the upper body. Bret grabs Vince's legs again and this time, goes for the Sharpshooter, causing McMahon to quickly tap out.
Winner: Bret Hart After the match, three WWE referees come into the ring to check on McMahon and the Hart family comes in to celebrate with Bret
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Chris Jericho (c) vs. EdgeChris Jericho makes his way to the ring first, followed by Edge. The introductions are made by Tony Chimel, the bell rings, and we're underway. Jericho gets Edge in a headlock, but Edge pushes Jericho into the ropes. Jericho counters with a takedown to Edge. Edge gets back to his feet and goes to work on Jericho before Jericho takes him down again. Jericho gets Edge into the corner and starts to whip him into the opposite corner, but Edge counters and takes Jericho down. Edge goes for a spear, but Jericho rolls out of the ring. Edge slams Jericho's head into the Spanish announce table, then throws him back into the ring. As Edge gets back in, Jericho kicks him, causing Edge to fall from the apron. Edge finally gets back into the ring, but Jericho guillotines him on the bottom rope. Jericho takes Edge down again and gets a two-count. Jericho gets Edge into another headlock-type hold, but Edge gets up and tries countering, but is taken down to the mat by Jericho again, who kicks him. Jericho gets Edge into the corner and slams his head into the turnbuckle. Jericho whips Edge into the opposite corner, and as Jericho runs at him, Edge moves and Jericho catches himself on the ringpost. Edge then takes down Jericho, but when he whips Jericho into the ropes, Jericho counters and front suplexes Edge into the ropes. Jericho rushes Edge again, but Edge counters and causes Jericho to fly into the announce table chin-first. Edge then dives out of the ring onto Jericho. Both men get back into the ring, and Jericho manages to get Edge into the corner. He tries suplexing Edge, but Edge counters with a faceplant and gets a two-count. Jericho tries going for the Walls of Jericho, but Edge kicks him off. Edge goes to the top rope and hits a cross body onto Jericho, but Jericho reverses and gets a two-count.
Jericho again goes for the Walls, but Edge gets out of it. Edge then hits a sunset flip on Jericho for a two-count, which Jericho then reverses for a two-count of his own. Jericho gets to his feet as Edge is still down on the mat. Edge slowly gets up and Jericho tries going for the Codebreaker, but Edge throws him into the corner. Edge is now in the opposite corner. He goes for the spear on Jericho, but Jericho counters into the Walls of Jericho again. Edge counters into a rollup but gets a two-count. Jericho then goes for a Lionsault, but Edge counters into a neckbreaker for another two-count. Jericho then hits an enziguri on Edge for yet another two-count. Jericho pushes Edge into the corner, rebounds off the ropes, and goes for a bulldog, but Edge counters with the Impaler DDT for another two-count. Jericho then goes to the middle rope behind Edge and dives off, hitting Edge with a stiff shot to the back of the head. Jericho then goes into an opposite corner and signals for a spear. Jericho goes for it but Edge hits him in the face with a big boot. Edge then goes into the same corner and works himself up. He again goes for the spear, but Jericho counters with the Codebreaker.
Jericho goes for the cover, but Edge kicks out after a two-count. Jericho goes for the cover yet again, but again there is a two-count. As Edge gets to his feet, Jericho then kicks Edge in his ankle, causing him to fall to the mat in pain. Jericho then begins stomping at Edge's ankle, but Edge gets back to his feet and starts hammering at Jericho before Jericho locks in the Walls of Jericho again. Edge nearly gets to the ropes, but Jericho pulls him away then switches to a single-leg Boston crab submission maneuver. Edge is writhing in pain, but manages to get to the ropes. Jericho pulls Edge away, but Edge gets a rollup for another two-count. Both men then end up outside the ring, as Jericho goes over and picks up the belt. Edge catches him and tries to get him back in the ring, but catches Edge's right-hand shot, causing his arm to fly backwards and hit the referee. Jericho then hits Edge with the title and goes for the pin, but only gets a two-count. Jericho then hits the Codebreaker again for the victory.
Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Chris JerichoAfter the match, Jericho goes after Edge's leg, but is kicked away. Jericho removes the cover from the announce table, and Jericho climbs on it. Edge climbs on the Spanish announce table and waits for Jericho to get up, then spears Jericho off of the opposite table through one of the ringside barricades.
10-DIVA TAG TEAM MATCH: Kelly Kely, Eve Torres, Gail Kim, Mickie James, and Beth Phoenix vs. Vickie Guerrero, Alicia Fox, Layla, Divas Champion Maryse, and Women's Champion Michelle McCoolThe team of Alicia Fox, Layla, Vickie Guerrero, Divas Champion Maryse, and Women's Champion Michelle McCool make their way to the ring first, followed by the team of Mickie James, Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, Gail Kim, and Beth Phoenix. They rush into the ring, and Vickie's team rushes out of the ring, leaving Vickie in there on her own. Vickie starts boobie-bumping Gail Kim, who tags in Beth Phoenix. Beth takes Vickie to the corner and tags in Eve, who starts kicking Vickie. Mickie then tags in and goes after Vickie, followed by Kelly. Vickie then starts screaming at Kelly, who kicks Vickie in the gut and goes for a cover, but McCool comes in and hits Kelly with the Faithbreaker. Mickie then comes in to DDT McCool, Layla then comes in and takes down Mickie, Eve then comes in to take down Layla, so on and so on. Beth then comes in after Vickie, but is taken down by McCool. McCool then signals for Vickie to do the frogsplash, and she does...well, kind of. Vickie goes for the pin, but at two, Kelly's shoulders are up. Vickie then does...well, something and covers Kelly for the win.
Winners: Vickie Guerrero, Alicia Fox, Layla, Maryse, and Michelle McCool WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Batista (c) vs. John CenaBatista came out first to a huge chorus of boos from the fans. After his entrance, a group of Marines or Air Force soldiers were on the entrance ramp doing a routine with guns and marching. John Cena's music then plays and he quickly comes out on the entrance ramp and runs to the ring. As he enters, Batista quickly exits it. Cena poses for the fans as Batista gets back into the ring. The introductions are made, the bell rings, and we're underway. Cena and Batista lock up and Batista catches Cena in a headlock. Cena powers out of it and pushes Batista into the ropes, but Cena is taken down. Cena then comes back and takes Batista down with a headlock of his own. Batista gets Cena into the corner, but Cena reverses and hits Batista with numerous rights and lefts, but Batista then takes Cena down again. Cena is now in one of the corners, and Batista runs at him with a boot. Batista then gets Cena's body halfway out of the ring and starts going after Cena's neck. Back in the ring, Batista goes for a suplex, but Cena counters with one of his own. Batista tries coming back, but Cena hits a faceplant for a two-count. Cena then goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Batista counters with a DDT for a two-count. Batista then gets Cena in another headlock, but Cena amazingly gets up off the mat and breaks Batista's hold on him, but Batista kicks Cena in the gut before the two start exchanging blows.
The two get back to their feet and Cena backdrops Batista. Batista tries running for Cena again, but is again taken down. Cena then does his "you can't see me", but as he runs for Batista, Batista counters with a spinebuster. Batista then signals for the Batista Bomb, but Cena counters with the STF. Batista is able to get to the ropes, then hits Cena with a spear for a two-count. Cena is now in the corner, and Batista hits him with some good shots before putting him on the top rope. Batista goes for a superplex, but Cena manages to grab Batista's hands. Cena then headbutts Batista a few times, causing Batista to fall to the mat. Cena then flies off the top rope with a Five-Knuckle Shuffle. Cena goes for the AA again, but Batista grabs the ropes. He gets down and hits Cena with the Batista Bomb, but Cena kicks out at two. Batista goes for Cena, but Cena counters and tries to hit the AA. Batista gets out of it and Cena is finally able to hit the AA but only gets a two-count on Batista. Cena then goes back to the top rope as Batista is getting back to his feet. Cena dives off but Batista catches him and slams him to the mat with shades of SummerSlam. Batista goes for the Batista Bomb again, but Cena counters into the STF and locks it in, causing Batista to tap out.

STREAK: Shawn Michaels vs. The UndertakerShawn Michaels makes his way to the ring first, followed by The Undertaker, who is wearing some sort of new hooded robe. The bell rings and Taker immediately goes for HBK, but HBK counters with chops in the corner. Taker then tries going for Old School, but HBK keeps countering until Taker is finally able to do it. Taker then tries to chokeslam HBK, but HBK breaks out of it and kicks Taker in his knee, which looks like it might be injured in some way. Taker then goes for the Tombstone, but HBK counters out of it and gets Taker in some sort of hold before Taker again grabs HBK's neck. HBK breaks out of it, but Taker grabs him again and tries to clothesline him. HBK goes for Sweet Chin Music, but Taker gets out of the way. HBK goes for Taker's knee again, then gets him into a corner and starts stomping him. Taker is able to power out and get HBK into the corner and starts pounding him. HBK kicks Taker, but Taker knocks HBK down with a hard right-hand shot. HBK leaves the ring, but Taker runs to dive on him. As Taker does this, HBK rushes back in and hits Taker's knee with a shoulder block. HBK goes for the figure four leglock, but Taker powers out of it, causing HBK to fall out of the ring. Taker then picks up HBK and rams his back into the ringpost. Taker then places HBK back in the ring with his upper body out the apron. Taker then gets on the apron and hits a legdrop. Taker gets back into the ring, but HBK takes him down and locks in the figure four on Taker. After a couple minutes, Taker manages to reverse the maneuver, causing HBK to break the hold. Taker and HBK then begin exchanging shots to one another, with HBK getting the upper hand with his chops. Taker goes for a punch, but HBK counters with more chops. Taker tosses HBK into the ropes, but HBK rebounds and takes down Taker, but taker comes back with a big chokeslam for a two-count on HBK. Taker then goes for the Tombstone, but HBK counters into an anklelock submission maneuver. Taker goes for the ropes, but HBK drags him away and continues to put pressure on the hold. Taker then manages to kick HBK in the head a couple times, causing the hold to be broken. HBK then clotheslines Taker, and almost himself, over the top rope before going for a dive-like maneuver. Taker is able to catch him and hit the Tombstone on HBK on the arena floor. A medical official then runs out, and it appears that HBK may be hurt, but Taker tosses him aside, rolls HBK back into the ring, and gets a two-count. Taker then hits HBK with a kick then hits him with the Last Ride, or so it appears as both men fell very awkwardly. HBK covers Taker for a two-count. HBK then goes to the top rope and dives off for an elbow drop, but Taker brings his knees up at the last second. Taker then locks in his Hell's Gate submission hold, but HBK counters into a roll-up for another two-count. Both men slowly get to their feet and HBK hits Sweet Chin Music for a two-count. HBK pulls himself back up in the corner as Taker is slowly getting back to his feet. HBK goes for Sweet Chin Music again, but Taker counters into the Last Ride for yet another two-count. Taker gets back to his feet and then throws HBK back out of the ring.
Taker follows and pulls the cover off of the announce table, as well as removing the lights and monitors from it. Taker picks HBK up to his feet and goes for the Last Ride again, but HBK counters with Sweet Chin Music, causing Taker to fall backwards onto the table. HBK then slowly goes to the top rope and hits a moonsault on Taker, but it appears as though HBK only hit Taker's feet and leg as the camera clearly catches HBK landing on most of the table. Replays are shown, and it appears there may be some sort of injury to Taker's leg. HBK gets Taker back into the ring and hits Sweet Chin Music for yet ANOTHER two-count! HBK gets back to his feet before Taker does and goes for Sweet Chin Music yet again, but Taker counters with a chokeslam. Taker then limps toward HBK, picks him up, and hits the Tombstone for ANOTHER two-count.
Taker slowly gets back to his feet, while HBK is still down on the mat. Taker pulls down his straps and starts to do his throat-cutting gesture, but stops as HBK uses Taker to get to his knees. HBK then does Taker's gesture before slapping Taker. An enraged Taker then Tombstones HBK for the win...ladies and gentlemen, the career of Shawn Michaels has come to an end...
Winner: The Undertaker Following the match, Taker helped HBK to his feet and in a sign of respect, the two shook hands. Taker then left the ring and HBK smiled and waved to the crowd. As HBK got to his knees and began crying, Jerry Lawler put it best when he said that this may be the ultimate WrestleMania moment. HBK then left the ring and shook hands with some of the ringside fans as he headed backstage. He also exclaimed "I'm gonna drive my kids nuts in three weeks!" HBK got on his knees at the top of the ramp and waved to the audience again, ending the show.
