Wrestling Fan Criticism Can Only Go So Far...

Hey everyone, I will try to keep this brief, but this is a topic I've come to feel quite strongly about in recent time. I am referring to wrestling fans taking comments, and other criticism way too far. Now, obviously it is in the nature, for us fans to have an opinion on wrestlers, matches, etc, but I believe there is a fine line between constructive criticism, anf making statements that a fan has no place to make. For an example I will refer to a situation where an indy wrestler was campaigning to be entered into the Royal Rumble, I believe WrestlingNewsSource may have shared the petition on its facebook page. This wrestler has gone through hell and back, and has come a long way, someone alot of people, myself, and top names included.  After the posting I observed comments, that truely angred me. I was reading comments along the lines of "he is just a no name and deserves nothing", "he probably sucks anyway", "that loser will never make it". Now i can speak from experience, as years ago I would be the first person rip on guys like Cena, every chance i could get, but with thought, I've come to realize, who are we to be so mean? I revolted against the hate comments, saying that if you have never stepped into a ring and come equal to, or surpassed the success of the wrestler you are ripping on, none of us really have a place to dictate what kind of success any wrestler "deserves". I dont think some fans realize the sacrifice that wrestlers go through, to try and earn our respect. Hatred toward a character, is totally fine, but to make your comments personal is crossing the line. How can one rip on this wrestlers skill level if they have never bumped in their life? 

Overall I really just think with the freedom of the internet, fans are too far out of line. Respect the wrestlers for everything they go through, and cheer or boo their character as you please. Keep your criticism fair, and know your role.
