Posted by: Blake Blaze Campbell of WrestlingNewsSource.com on Feb 27 2012

Welcome to WWE RAW as the show takes place in the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon. Tonight promises to be an exciting one as we see the return of The Rock to Monday Night RAW. Also to be expected is mutliple confrontations between John Cena/The Rock, Triple H/Undertaker and Chris Jericho/CM Punk. Make sure to keep tuned to WrestlingNewsSource.com as we keep you up to date with the live happenings on Monday Night RAW!

We kick off the show with a promo recapping Cena's comments at the Rock last week before "Burn it to the Ground" starts in. Immediatelly starting off the show is a Champion vs. Champion match between WWE Champion CM Punk and World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. While CM Punk makes his way down to the ring we get video coverage of the match between the two Champions on last week's Smackdown.

Justin Matthews introduces CM Punk's opponent...wait...Break Down the Walls hits and Jericho makes his way down into the ring with CM Punk. The two take part in a stare down before Chris Jericho asks Punk if he was expecting somebody else. A CM Punk chant breaks out as Jericho acknowledges that Punk has a big match coming up but telling him he has bigger news. Jericho then goes on to tell Punk he's a great wrestler and one of Jericho's favorites but that he isn't the best in the world. He continues by saying that he didn't have to claim he was the best in the world, that he fans did that. Jericho would go on talk about how he was part of a breed that was more concerned with putting on a great match than what backstage politics were taking place. He claims he doesn't care about the politics and that he knows he has a bad reputation because of it but that he doesn't care because he knows he is the best. Jericho makes comparisons by claiming that Punk did things just like Jericho because he is a Chris Jericho wannabe. At this point, CM Punk cuts Jericho off. Punk tells Chris that he and the WWE Fans know how good Jericho is. His problem with Jericho is that Jericho claims Punk wants to be him. He then goes on to tell Jericho that Bret Hart was using the "Best" schtick before Jericho was. Punk throws in a jab by asking if he invented being Canadian too. Jericho cuts off Punk by telling him he can play around all he wants but that Jericho is serious and that he truly is the best in the world despite what Punk and the fans think. Chris Jericho lists off his accomplishments and matches while the fans break into a huge CM Punk chant. CM Punk asks Jericho who he is trying to prove he is the best too. CM Punk? The Fans? Or Jericho himself? CM Punk talks about how he did grow up much like Jericho but that he surpassed Jericho in success. He talks about how Jericho was never the man and now CM Punk is. CM Punk goes on to say that Jericho claims he is the best in the world at what he does but Punk claims he is the best wrestler in the world. CM Punk lists all of Jericho's outside endeavors while saying he was in the WWE swimming among sharks while Jericho was dancing with stars. Jericho goes on to say that all of the fancy promos, jackets and etc. were just window shopping to cover up the fact that he came back for one purpose...to prove that he is the best in the world at what he does at Wrestlemania against CM Punk. Punk throws in a jab saying he doesn't need Chris Brown and Jericho doesn't need Mickey Rourke, that all they need is a match in the recipe to have what could possibly be the greatest wrestling match in Wrestlemania history. Punk tells Jericho when he sees Punk holding the belt up at Wrestlemania saying he's the best in the world, it won't be the end of the world...just the end of Jericho's. Daniel Bryan's music hits as the promo ends and we get ready for the upcoming match.

Daniel Bryan gets the jump on Punk as Laurinaitis and Otunga who walked to ringside caused a distraction. Bryan gets quite a few punches in before Punk gains control and nails Bryan with elbows to the head and tosses him outside of the ring.

We come back from the commercial break to see that Bryan had regained control. Santino, David Otunga, Teddy Long and John Laurinaitis are all standing around the announce table as Long and Laurinaitis make their claims for why they're right for the Permanent GM Job. Punk and Bryan exchange kicks before Punk grounds Bryan and nails him with repeated knees to the back. Punk tosses Bryan over the ropes and plays to the fans. Bryan sells pain to the knee and has AJ cover him so Punk can't dive over the ropes to hit him. Punk makes his way out of the ring as Bryan pops back up. Bryan quickly takes over and sends Punk into the stairs.

Bryan has Punk locked in an abdominal stretch after superplexing Punk off of the turnbuckle. Punk breaks the hold but Bryan quickly moves him into the turnbuckle. Bryan runs to kick Punk in the face but Punk moves and Bryan hits the turnbuckle. Both men are down for a few seconds but Punk beats Bryan up. Punk takes over the match and eventually grounds Bryan for a diving elbow off of the top rope. Punk signals for the Go To Sleep but Otunga distracts him. Bryan gains control before the two wrestlers dive into each other off of rope dives. We break from the action to see Santino and Otunga fighting on the ringside, Santino nails Otunga with the Cobra. Chaos ensues outside of the ring while Daniel Bryan tries to sneak away. Sheamus runs from the back and throws Bryan back into the ring and to get with a Go To Sleep. CM Punk wins...wait Laurinaitis calls it off. Teddy Long walks into the ring and plants Laurinaitis firmly on the ground. Now the two are talking trash back and forth while Otunga and Santino hold them back. We cut to see CM Punk leaving up the ramp and turning to acknowledge the fans. Wait, Jericho appears from the back and attacks Punk from behind. Jericho slams Punk onto the steel ramp and locks him in the Walls of Jericho. After the refs get Jericho off of Punk, Jericho lifts the WWE Championship in the air and smiles as he tells CM Punk that he has four weeks left. Daniel Bryan def. CM Punk via DQ

A promo for John Cena and the Rock airs and we get another reminder that The Rock will be live here tonight in Portland, Oregon!

We come back from the break to see Josh Mathews give an update on Punk's condition while standing outside of the training room where presumably Punk is receiving medical care. The announcers promote the Triple H/Undertaker match before we cut to a Promo for the highly anticipated Wrestlemania bout. The promo ends with Triple H saying "He won the battle, I won the war." Jerry Lawler promotes a match for later tonight between John Cena and The Miz.

Kelly Kelly and Nikki Bella get prepared for their singles match while Cole reads off a Tweet from Kelly Kelly earlier in the day regarding Eve. Kelly Kelly said "Just when you think you know someone...you don't."  Kelly Kelly and Nikki Bella exchange rolling pins before Kelly gets the three count. Kelly Kelly defeats Nikki Bella via pin.

A match featuring Sheamus/Big Show vs. Mark Henry/Cody Rhodes is shown for later tonight before we're reminded of The Rock being here at RAW and the upcoming Cena/Miz match.

A promo for The Rock DVD airs as we get set to continue on with the action. Cena's music hits as the mixed audience prepares for his match with The Miz. Cena makes sure to give a shout out to the WWE Employee who apparently grew a beard since he last saw him before running down to the ring. The Miz comes out with mic in hand before telling Cena that he needs to get something off of his chest. Miz claims he has worked too hard to be treated like this. In the past year nobody has worked harder in the past year, not even Cena. Who do you think is the #1 option to promote the WWE? Miz does. But yet his name has yet to be called upon for Wrestlemania. The crowd is going absolutely nuts before The Miz tells them to shutup and acknowledges that they'd love it if he wasn't even on Wrestlemania. The Miz continues to work the crowd. He said he's going to get his chance at Wrestlemania by beating the man he beat at Wrestlemania last year because he's The Miz and he's awesome. The Miz got quite a bit of heat during his promo.

John Cena and The Miz lock up and exchange hold before The Miz gets thrown into the ropes and slammed to the mat. Cena is on The Miz fast with a suplex, toss into the ropes an attitude adjustment attempt. The Miz hits Cena with a neckbreakers and gets a 2 count in the pin attempt. The Miz gets another 2 count shortly afterwards. The typical "Let's go Cena, Cena sucks" chant fills the arena as John Cena takes back control of the match. More offense from John Cena before clotheslining The Miz. John Cena again quick on the attack but The Miz reverses into a hard DDT. The Miz hits a cornered Cena with a clothelise against the turnbuckle. The Miz heads to the top rope but misses Cena. Cena hit's multiple offensive moves before grounding The Miz and hitting The Miz with the five knuckle shuffle. Cena follows up the five knuckle shuffle with an attitude adjustment and locking the Miz in the STF. Miz taps! John Cena def. The Miz via Submission.

We see The Rock on the titantron while he warms up and watches John Cena's match. The Rock stops long enough to taunt Cena with a "You Can't See Me" gesture. Cena stops on the stage and smiles at the split crowd as we cut to commercial.

We come back to be told we're getting a Triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match! Three superstars will be allowed in the ring at the same time with the winners becoming the new WWE Tag Team Champions. The first team to come out is R-Truth and Kofi Kingston. Vickie Guerrero then comes out to introduce the future WWE Tag Team Champions, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. Primo and Epico make their way to ringside while accompanied by manager Rosa Mendes.

Dolph Ziggler immediatelly rolls out of the ring to let Kofi and Primo square off against one another. Kofi has the upper hand against Primo quickly. Ziggler slides back into the ring but is quickly planted. Soon afterwards complete chaos takes place in the ring between the competitors. After continued tags and momentum switches, all of the in-ring competitors are knocked out of the ring and we're left with an empty ring as we cut to commercial.

---Commercial---

Coming back from the commercial the in-ring competitors are Swagger, R-Truth and Primo. Primo and Swagger have decided to team up against R-Truth until Primo went for the cover prompting Swagger to break the pin and get in a shoving match with Primo. Swagger tags in Ziggler who goes on the offensive quickly. Primo and Ziggler attempt to double team on R-Truth but he shows he still has some in the tank and fights them off. R-Truth looking great now as he DDT's both stars. Epico and Swagger are both tagged in and begin to fight before Kingston is tagged in and nails both competitors with repeated drop kicks. Kofi is on fire as he goes to the top rope and hits Swagger with a cross body. Kingston body slams Epico onto Swagger and hits the moondrop on both of their bodies. Ziggler hits Kofi with the Zig Zag before R-Truth knocked Ziggler out of the ring. All of the superstars exchange finishers before Primo gets the cover on Swagger. Primo/Epico def. Swagger/Ziggler via Pin.

BOOM! Kane's pyro erupts as he makes his way down into the ring and lays out Primo with a boot to the face. Kane then enters the ring and nails Ziggler and Epico with a choke slam. R-Truth attacks Kane in the back but Kane regains the offensive and nails R-Truth with a choke slam as well. Kane thrusts his arms in his usual way and ignites the pyro as he stands over three beaten bodies. Kane displayed pure dominance.

We cut to a backstage segment between Laurinaitis and Otunga while they insult "The Artist". Teddy Long enters the area despite Laurinaitis's complaints. He informs Laurinaitis that there is rumor that Laurinaits won't be hosting next week's RAW and then calls him a Horses Ass. The fans begin to chant Horses Ass as we are reminded of the upcoming tag match between Big Show/Sheamus and Cody Rhodes/Mark Henry. Another reminder that The Rock is in the arena and will be addressing the fans tonight!

---Commercial---

We immediatelly get a promo for the drama between Eve and Zack Ryder. The promo goes on to show coverage of her interaction with John Cena on last week's RAW. Eve comes out after the promo as the cameras pan across signs with Hoeski references. She manages to get legitimate heat from the fans before a Hoeski chant breaks out. Eve tells the fans if they want to judge her, to go right on ahead. That she is a woman living in a man's world and that she tells men what they want to hear. That she uses men but that there isn't a man in the world that doesn't want to be used by a woman like her. That it's not her fault that men crumble at her feet like puppies begging for affection. So she shouldn't be blamed for her natural strengths, they should blame themselves. She then proceeds to blow the audience a kiss as the fans begin to boo her again. After moments of discussion between Lawler and Cole, we cut back to see Eve and Kelly Kelly having a confronation in the back. Kelly asks Eve what her deal is and why she's been ignoring Kelly? Eve laughs before walking off, leaving Kelly clearly pissed. Sheamus and the Big Show begin to make their way to the ring before we cut to the trailer for the WWE's new film starring Adam Copeland (Edge), Bending the Rules.

---Commercial---

As we come back from the break, Cole and Lawler confirm that Laurinaitis and Long won't be running their respective shows next week. The Big Show makes his entrance as we prepare for the upcoming tag team match. After his entrance, Cody grabs a microphone and reminds the Big Show about his loss to Mayweather at Wrestlemania years prior. We're then shown a video package presented by Cody Rhodes of the match between Big Show and Mayweather. Afterwards the match kicks off and Cody Rhodes immediately tags Mark Henry in. Henry looks disgruntled but the look would quickly fade as Big Show hit him with a spear. Big Show and Cody Rhodes exchange words while Sheamus tags himself in and hits Mark Henry with a brogue kick and pins Henry to get the win. Sheamus/Big Show def. Cody Rhodes/Mark Henry via pin. We're told to head over to WWE.com in the morning for a big announcement by the WWE Board of Directors. Keep in mind, any news regarding the WWE can be found here on WrestlingNewsSource.com

Once again we see the promo of John Cena hyping up the match and putting down the Rock. Up next, The Rock addresses John Cena and the fans!

---Commercial---

Coming back from the break we're shown that HBK will be live on RAW next Monday Night!

The fans are on their feet in excitement as a Rocky chant fills the arena. Moments pass before..."Can you smell, what the Rock is cooking!" And here is, the man everybody in attendance has been waiting for is making his way down to the ring while being motivated by the electrified fans in attendance. Rocky chants continue to fill the arena before The Rock tells us to look at the goosebumps on his arm because this feels so damn good. More Rocky chants invade the Rose Garden arena before The Rock goes on to say that he isn't here every single week. He was here every single week for years when it was job and that he loved it. The Rock was born and created here in the WWE and that knows if it wasn't for the WWE Fans, The Rock would never exist. When he came back and said he was back and never going away, he meant it. Did it mean he was going to be at every show? No. It's not what was meant or expected but if Cena wants to take that literally then he can go ahead and take it literally. Because unlike Cena, he respects the audience's intelligence because they know he was born in this business and they know his heart and soul are in the business. He also goes on to say they know he is standing in the ring tonight for no other reason than because he loves the WWE and that he'll always be a part of the WWE. The Rock continues by saying for years he use to think that Cena was a phoney and their was no way a guy from private school became the Dr. Of Thuganomics. Then he goes on to address Cena's comments about how hard it is to get ahold of The Rock and calls him a liar that he'd like to slap in the face with a piece of chicken. The crowd is on fire while The Rock says that Cena isn't a phoney or a bad guy...but he is a kung pow (sp?) bitch. Kung pow bitch chants have now filled the arena as The Rock admires his newest creation. The Rock continues on by saying that Cena said he was going to fight for all of the guys in the back who love to be a Professional Wrestler and that The Rock never needed anybody to fight for him. The Rock goes on to break kayfabe by acknowledging his face run when the fans were booing him much like the fans boo Cena today.

The Rock goes on to ask if Cena thought anybody fought for legends like Roddy Piper, Randy Savage and so forth. He tells Cena that while Cena may fight for the guys in the back, he fights for the millions. He fights for the people who are tired of a kung pow bitch being shoved down their throat every Monday Night. The Rock tells Cena that while the fans are tired of him, they aren't tired of entertainment and that's why the Rock is here now. The Rock boasts about getting Cena on the front of a cereal box as the fans chant fruity pebbles. He continues boasting about all of the various insults he gave to Cena that trended on Twitter afterwards. Pausing for a moment to get the crowd aligned on their chants due to the audience being split between "Lady Parts" and "Rocky". He tells Cena that his recent change to camoflauge attire is working because The Rock and the millions can't find Cena's balls anywhere. And at that...Cena's music hits to flurry of boos!

Cena walks down the ramp all smiles at the fans booing him madly. Cena goes onto admit there was no way he could miss this. Cena goes on to say that The Rock's promo is perfect and follow's The Rock's typical shtick to perfection. He also goes onto admit that he is the guy who runs down The Rock when he is here. But that he's only right because he's the guy who will run him down when he is here. Cena says he use to be a Rock fan until he got to meet the self-centered son of a bitch named Dwayne Johnson. Cena says he doesn't need words like Loyal or Respect to trend worldwide, just like he doesn't need notes for his promo wrote on his wrist. Cena goes on to say that he doesn't like Dwayne and that while he may be looking at a man without balls but he's looking at a guy who is going to beat the hell out of him at Wrestlemania. Cena then leaves the ring smiling before telling the Rock to go on and continue trending. Cena then drops the mic and walks to the back. Rock tells Cena that it's just like John to come out here and run his mouth before The Rock can put a fist to it. He goes onto claim that The Rock and Dwayne Johnson are the same man and that he and Cena both know that Cena isn't tough. The Rock tells Cena that the only thing that matters is at Wrestlemania and the millions are going to kick his candy ass at Wrestlemania. "If you smellllllllll, what the Rock is cooking!"

The Rock throws his mic to the side and plays to the fans as his music fills the arena! And at that, RAW fades to black!
