WWE RAW Results (2/13)

Welcome to Monday Night Raw and this week Raw is coming to you live from San Diego and it begins with the ending from last week’s episode with Kane cornering Eve.  We get a close up of Kane saying there is nothing he won’t do to get John Cena to embrace the hate.  Tonight, 2 things will happen 1) John Cena wil embrace the hate 2) someone will be carried out in an ambulance.

Jerry Lawler welcomes the crowd to the first ever Elimination Chamber debate and introduces the six participants.  We start with Punk and Jerry Lawler asks what he thinks his chances are of walking out as WWE Champion.  John Laurinaitis and David Otunga interrupt and say he’s happy to be here tonight and thanks the board of director for their support.  Punk says he promises the WWE Universe the debate will not end in violence, second is to John Laurinaitis offering his sincere congratulations.  And third, reason why he will win is because he is the best wrestler in the world.  Jerry Lawler goes to Dolph Ziggler for his rebuttal but Vickie  Guerrero interrupts.  Ziggler says he’s a better wrestler than CM Punk and he backs it up every night. He takes a jab at R-Truth saying he probably doesn’t even know what state they’re in.  He says if he’s voted in,  first thing he’ll do is trade Ziggler and Vickie to Smackdown for Hornswoggle and a box of spiders.  Then he’s going to make spider soup and his running mate Little Jimmy will watch him gulp down the spider soup giving him the energy he needs to outlast everyone else and win the elimination chamber.  Miz says he wasn’t in the main event of last year’s Wrestlemania.  He WAS the main event at last year’s Wrestlemania which made it an astronomical success.  Miz takes his jabs at the other 5 participants and the buzzer goes off.  Kofi says he might walk into Elimination Chamber an afterthought but just might walk out as the next WWE Champion.  Last, Chris Jericho speaks saying he’s surrounded by neophytes and everyone needs to quiet down because the true best in the world is about to enunciate.  There’s no human being that’s been in more chamber matches, eliminated more opponents.  Last time he was in a chamber match, he walked out WWE Champion.  Jericho says Punk might as well give him the WWE title now because his Master has come to reclaim what is rightfully his.  Punk takes a shot at Jericho and his appearance on Dancing With The Stars.  Lawler sees the debate is about to erupt into chaos and says we might as well get to the first match right now.  Chris Jericho vs Kofi Kingston.  Punk and Jericho stand face to face.  Punk raises his title and Kingston hits Jericho from behind with Trouble In Paradise.

Kofi Kingston vs Chris Jericho

Kingston stomps on Jericho.  Irish whip and Jericho holds on but Kingston clotheslines him over the top rope.  Jericho hits the announce table.  Suicide dive onto Jericho.  Jericho in the corner and Kingston with mounted punches.  Jericho with a punch and a kick, slams Kingston.  Pin and a 2 count another 2 count and Jericho has a submission hold locked in.  Kofi with the irish whip, goes for a dropkick but Jericho holds on.  Cover and a 2 count. Kingston to the top, crossbody and a nearfall by Kingston.  Kingston on the apron, punches Jericho.  Kingston on the top rope and Jericho catches him in the Walls Of Jericho.  Kofi makes it to the ropes and Jericho breaks it.  Jericho arguing with Charles Robinson and Kofi hits another Trouble In Paradise and a 2 count.  Kofi fired up, stomping on Jericho, the referee pulling him off and Jericho with a rake to the eyes, CodeBreaker and the 3 count

Backstage: John Cena wants to know how Zack Ryder is feeling and Ryder says he's all beat up but can't stay away from Eve.  Cena says but every time Ryder's here Kane hurts Ryder to get to Cena and tells Ryder to stay in the locker room and he'll bring Eve to Ryder

Backstage: Otunga says good news is the board has decided to keep him on as interim GM of RAW but didn’t say permanent GM of RAW and Otunga says he has an idea for how Laurinaitis can be the permanent GM of both RAW and Smackdown

We see a re-cap of the developing rivalry between Randy Orton and Big Show that began this past Friday on Smackdown

Big Show vs Randy Orton

Randy Orton has Show in the corner delivers kicks and an uppercut.  Show dumps Orton out, picks him with one hand brings him back in, side slam.

Back in the ring Orton with a sleeper on Show.   Flip over by Show, Orton thrown in the corner and Orton hits a dropkick.  2 count on Show and Orton is out of the ring.  Show outside smashing Orton’s head into the announce table.  Show staring down Bryan and Bryan pointing to the ring.  Show on the apron, Orton pulls him through the ropes.  DDT by Orton.  Orton coiling up.  RKO on Show, Orton picks him up, Show pushes him away and Orton hits another RKO and Bryan leaves his chair at the announce table and levels Orton with the title.  Bryan’s in the ring and he takes out Show with the title.

Justin Roberts announces WWE Hall Of Famer, The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels.  HBK says when you don’t do this for a while you get nervous and he’s nervous.  He says, earlier today someone asked why Shawn always shows up around this time of year and Shawn says it’s Wrestlemania and you can’t have a Wrestlemania without Mr. Wrestlemania.  He says much like everyone else he was riveted to his television set last week and was waiting for his best friend Triple H to say he accepts The Undertaker’s challenge to Wrestlemania.  He called John Laurinaitis and says he has to come to Raw and talk to his best friend Triple H.  So the reason why he’s here tonight is to bring Triple H out to the ring to get an answer of yes he will accept Undertaker’s challenge and another opportunity at the streak.  Triple H comes out, they make the DX sign and he says it’s great to see Shawn.  Hunter said he knows it’s not easy for HBK to tear himself away from Texas but he thinks it’d be nice to see Shawn more than just once a year around Wrestlemania.  Triple H says he’s not going to be facing Undertaker at Wrestlemania.  HBK understands he’s gotta do the thing with the suit and Triple H said it’s not the suit talking, he saw what Triple H did to him last year he couldn’t walk out of the ring under his own power and he knows if he faces Undertaker again he has to finish him he’s not that guy anymore.  HBK says Triple H IS that guy.  Shawn takes a poke at Triple H saying he married a McMahon so now he’s one of them? A corporate sellout?  Hunter says it’s not selling out, it’s investing in a future.  Hunter says Shawn doesn’t understand and Shawn says Hunter’s right but when a man challenges you and you back down that makes you a coward.  He doesn’t care about the suit, or the money, at the end of the day a coward is still a coward.  Triple H exits the ring and Shawn says walk away because that’s what a coward does.  And Hunter says he doesn’t get it, Hunter’s got responsibilities.  All of this is going to be his.  Triple H says Shawn looks at Taker like an opponent, Triple H no longer looks at him that way.  He looks at Taker as a brand that’s good for business and he can’t let that brand end.  He and Shawn are the end of an era of a different breed.  He’s not going to be the one to end the end of an era.  He’s not going to do it for the fans, to feed his ego, or to feed HBK’s ego just because he couldn’t get the job done.  Shawn says that was a great speech and might work on a lot of people.  He’s at peace, Hunter on the other hand has no peace and tells him to look in Shawn’s eyes and say he doesn’t want to end the streak.  Hunter takes his jacket off, looks into HBK’s eyes and utters the word “No”  Shawn exits, and Triple H is standing in the ring.  Hunter goes to leave but Undertaker’s gong hits and the lights go out.  A video appears on the titantron of Undertaker watching clips from last year's Wrestlemania and Hunter then takes his tie off as he stands in the ring.

Dolph Ziggler vs R Truth

Ziggler with a punch, fireman carry on Truth.  Cartwheel by Truth, Ziggler knocks him down.  Cover and a 2 count.  Dropkick by Ziggler.  Chinlock on Ziggler and he does a headstand turning it into a sideheadlock.  Truth to his feet and a right hand to Ziggler.  Headlock and a choke by Ziggler.  Ziggler pauses to do sit ups and Truth with the cover and the 3 count

The winner of the match: R Truth!!!!

Backstage: Zack Ryder is texting and Santino comes in and gives Ryder tips on love

Beth Phoenix is at the announce table to do commentary on the following match.  Michael Cole says a new match was announced for this Sunday.  Beth Phoenix will defend her Diva's Title against Tamina

Tamina vs Brie Bella

Side headlock by Brie, irish whip by Tamina and back elbow.  Brie back up and stomping on Tamina.  A hairmare by Tamina.  Nikki with the distraction and Brie and Tamina looking for the backslide.  Headbutt by Tamina.  Tamina going up top and she hits the Superfly Splash for the 3 count

The winner of the match: Tamina!!!!

We see clips of The Rock all over the media this week promoting his new movie ‘Journey 2’

John Cena is with Josh Matthews and there’s a commotion and we see Kane putting Eve in the ambulance and Cena attacks Kane.  Cena trying to get Eve to unlock the door and Kane attacks from behind.  Eve unlocks the door and jumps into Cena’s arms as Kane drives away.  Cena and Eve kiss and Zack Ryder catches them.

Eve catches up with Zack Ryder and tries to explain but Zack looks at her with a scowl on his face not wanting to hear it and leaves

CM Punk vs The Miz

Punk and Miz lock up and quick cover but Miz kicks out.  Another takedown and 2 count only.  Miz gets up and Punk kicks Miz.  Cover but Miz kicks out again.  Miz has Punk in the corner.  Side Russian legsweep and a kick out by Punk.  Armbar by Miz.  Punk to his feet,  irish whip, Miz going for an inverted DDT, Punk counters and a kick to the head.  Cover by Punk kick out by Miz.  Double neck chop by Punk and Miz pounding on Punk.  Punk back up, clotheslines and a neckbreaker.  Irish whip, running knee followed up with the running bulldog.  GTS countered by Miz but Miz plants Punk and a 2 count.  Irish whip by Miz and a clothesline in the corner.  Miz to the top, misses and Punk hits the powerslam but Miz kicks out at 2.  Punk to the top, Miz cuts him off.  Hooks Punk up but Punk fights him off, Miz falls off the turnbuckle and Punk lands the flying elbow.  GTS, countered by Miz, Miz with the SCF countered by Punk and Punk locks in the Anaconda Vise and gets the submission.

Backstage: The ambulance pulls back into the parking lot

John Cena comes out and grabs the mic.  He says it was an awkward moment by the ambulance and tried to apologize to Zack Ryder but he wouldn’t listen.  He says he’s sorry.  This was Kane’s plan all along.  Turn his friends and the WWE Universe against him.  To leave him alone with no other choice but to embrace this hate.  Pretty solid plan that sounds like it would have worked if it was anybody else.  But he’s not anybody else and he can tell that there are people here who feel like Kane that there’s an evil side to John Cena.  That if he’s harassed enough he’ll hit his breaking point and snap?  We get a Fruity Pebbles chant from the crowd and Cena says he will adapt, overcome and he will win and gives his word this Sunday Kane leaves the arena in an ambulance.  As for his “good friend” Dwayne.  He has a message for him about Wrestlemania.  Zack Ryder comes out and gets out of his wheelchair and walks down to the ring.  Ryder gets into the ring and rips the mic out of Cena’s hand and it falls to the floor then slaps him.  Cena takes his shirt off.  Ryder goes to slap him again, Cena blocks it and pushes him down.  Ryder rolls under the bottom rope and walks back up the ramp as Kane comes on the titantron and says he can talk about rising above the hate all he wants but he’s finally embraced it.  This Sunday will be the final time he competes in the ring and Cena will not adapt, overcome or win.  Ryder back in his wheelchair, Kane comes out and wheels him off the stage.  Cena runs over to help as the EMT’s get the stretcher ready.  Eve looking on crying
