New Details Emerge On NXT’s Rumored Move To Fox Sports 1

As has been known for a while now, WWE NXT is likely to be heading to Fox Sports 1, when SmackDown Live joins the network in the fall.

NXT is expected to get an extra hour and become a two-hour show, which would air on Wednesday between 8-10PM EST, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The idea is to make the show a live event instead of being taped so it can compete directly with AEW's show.

"NXT on FS 1 is tentatively set for 8-10 p.m. on Wednesday nights. For obvious reasons, that was the time slot expected but this was the first info we were given listing a time slot. Of course it wasn’t going to be finalized until TNT announced the time slot."

WWE is also considering touring the brand in bigger arenas instead of airing from Full Sail University.
