Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that Daniel Bryan will not be heading to Saudi on Friday, June 7 for the Super ShowDown at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Bryan had previously worked the first Saudi Arabia event, Greatest Royal Rumble in April 2018, but refused to work WWE Crown Jewel in November.
At the time it was reported that Bryan declined to work the show because of Saudi Arabia’s treatment of homosexuals and Sami Zayn not being allowed in the country. As we reported today, Kevin Owens is also not attending the upcoming Saudi event due to Zayn.
Zayn has not been allowed to work WWE’s events in Saudi Arabia due to issues with his home country of Syria.
