The WWE currently has no plans for John Cena at WrestleMania 35, according to Dave Meltzer.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said how the company currently has no plans for the 16-time World Champion, but may still appear.
Many believed Cena would be facing United States Champion Samoa Joe, who will be facing Rey Mysterio instead.
Another possible match fans have speculated on is the 16-time World Champion facing Kurt Angle in the Olympian's retirement match, though Angle will instead face Baron Corbin.Â
WWE WrestleMania 35 will take place Sunday, April 7, at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.Â
Matches announced include Universal Champion taking on Seth Rollins, as well as a triple threat for the RAW Women's title between Champion Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair.Â
