According to a report from F4WOnline.com/The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has been working on a special documentary for NXT, NXT U.K., 205 Live and Main Event ringside commentator Nigel McGuinness.
As fans are aware, McGuinness was a very accomplished competitor outside of WWE. He traveled around the world for over 12 years, capturing several championships in various different promotions. His greatest championship success was in the Ring of Honor Wrestling promotion, where Nigel held the ROH World Championship for 545 days from October of 2007 until April of 2009, and also held the ROH Pure Championship for 350 days from August of 2005 to August of 2006.
The documentary, simply titled The Nigel McGuinness Story, is set to air on WWE Network on Saturday, January 12th, the same day as the NXT U.K. TakeOver: Blackpool event.
