WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has reportedly been shaking up creative plans ahead of WrestleMania 35, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
As it stands, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will go up against WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35 next year. Given this is the plan, it is likely that Rollins will drop the I.C. title before WrestleMania, with speculation that it may be dropped to Dean Ambrose at the December 16 WWE TLC pay-per-view.
Lesnar is not due to return to WWE until the 2019 Royal Rumble pay-per-view where he is scheduled to face Braun Strowman. This, of course, depends on Strowman being fit and ready following elbow surgery.
Roman Reigns’ leukemia battle will likely be used to antagonize Rollins during his feud with Lesnar. As we reported on our Twitter several days ago, Reigns has given his go-ahead for any references to his current illness and wants to see the very best from this storyline.
