We Send Our Deepest Condolences To WNS Podcast Host Tyler Abear

I’m saddened to hear about the passing of WNS Podcast host and my buddy Tyler Abear’s Father.

I remember fondly meeting him and Tyler’s Mother a few years ago during my visit to Texas. I’ll never forget his warm welcome and impressive creative metalwork sculptures. I’ll also never forget him scouring his home to give me a keepsake!! I’m proud to say I still have it in my room and it remains a nice memory of my trip.

Despite such a big loss, new life is about to enter this world as Tyler and wife Daryl are due to become proud parents any day now.

I’m proud to have met him. A true Texan!

Statement from WNS Podcast:

Sad news to report.
Tyler’s father, Lucien, passed away last Friday. He had been battling cancer for about 4 years and will be deeply missed. If you’ve listened to the show regularly, you will have heard Tyler mention him from time to time.

The funeral is set for tomorrow morning. So if you could all please say a prayer for Tyler and his family, I know it would be greatly appreciated.

Naturally, due to the circumstances, there won’t be a show this week. #CancerSucks
