Update On NXT Moving To Fox Sports 1, Rumored Plans For 2019

WWE's $1 billion broadcasting deal for SmackDown Live will begin with FOX in the fall of 2019 and there has been much speculation about other plans the network has for WWE, with some rumor surrounding NXT moving to Fox Sports 1.

Joseph Peisech of the No Holds Barred podcast has revealed the following.

"There has not been an announcement that NXT or anything else is going to be on FS1 but that has been guarantee to me. I actually talked to someone that has guarantee that they will be on FS1. In fact, NXT Takeovers will be moving from the WWE Network to FS1 starting in late 2019.” 

Peisech added, “It looks like they want to increase the number of NXT Takeovers as well. From four to five to at least eight. That’s what I hear and that may start late 2019."
