SmackDown Live superstar Becky Lynch has said that 2017 was a mixed year for her, in an interview with Lillian Garcia.
Speaking on Garcia's 'Chasing Glory' podcast, the lass kicker said how she knew she wouldn't look at 2017 as her most successful year.
She said: "I wasn’t on television and featured in storylines as much as I would like to be, but of course that sets you up for the following year where we say to ourselves, ‘Okay, that may not be what I wanted, but how can we kick down the door and makes sure that 2018 is going to be better and bigger?'”
Lynch said how she was happy with a lot of recent goals, including moving to Los Angeles, and becoming the lead in the upcoming Marine 6.
The inaugural SmackDown Live Women's Champion also spoke on her friend Charlotte Flair being drafted to the blue brand earlier this year, describing it as "awesome."
"When you are travelling, you are travelling with somebody who has the same schedule and likes doing the same things. Goes to the same gym, eats at the same food places and things like that", she said.
That is one thing that makes the travelling more convenient, but also someone you can vent to all the time, or stay up with. It just makes the road life that much easier.”
