WWE Takes Shot At Impact Wrestling On Raw

On tonight's edition of WWE Raw, a backstage segment featuring General Manager Kurt Angle, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn involved Owens and Zayn essentially requesting jobs on Raw.

Angle responded by saying that his tag team division was "full," but that he "understood that TNA is hiring." The quip drew an extremely loud reaction from fans in attendance at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

It remains unclear why WWE decided to take this type of shot at a rival organization, but it obviously references the recent slew of talent departures from Impact.
