Steve Austin Says Seth Rollins Isn’t ‘All The Way Over’

WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin revealed on the most recent edition of his podcast his thoughts on Seth Rollins not being "all the way over."

ā€œRollins is somewhat over, not all-the-way over, not by a long shot. Now, I donā€™t mean that in a bad way. Thatā€™s just being honest.ā€ Austin explained, ā€œhe [has] relied on his sequences and his athleticism to carry him. To take him to the next level, heā€™ll have to get more character development.ā€

Austin went on to add he still doesn't have a sense of the Seth Rollins character.

ā€œWhen you say ā€˜Seth Rollinsā€™ or if you want to say ā€˜Seth Freakinā€™ Rollinsā€™, I still donā€™t have a sense of what or who this guy is. And so, that rests on Seth Rollinsā€™ shoulders, as an individual, as a performer, to define or create that as well as the WWE because I still donā€™t get a sense of what kind of personality he is.ā€

He also had some comparison of Rollins to WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart:

ā€œBret wasnā€™t an over-the-top guy. He was a pretty humble and a very quiet individual outside the ring, so in many regards kind of somewhat like Seth although Bretā€™s an entirely different animal, but thereā€™s a case of a guy whoā€™s not a showy kind of guy, but very conservative, but just a highly defined gimmick, a badass gimmick, and a world class worker, so Seth needs to work on this.ā€
