WWE 2017 Royal Rumble Results (1/29)

1. Raw Women's Championship: Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley

They lock up and Charlotte takes Bayley down early on. Charlotte then tosses Bayley out of the ring. Bayley is turning things around now, she gives Charlotte a Hurricanrana through the ropes and follows up with a Crossbody to take out Charlotte. She goes for the pin but Charlotte kicks out at 2. Charlotte hits a Neckbreaker and a huge boot to the face of Bayley for a 2-count. Charlotte is in control now. They both tried to Clothesline each other and they're both down now. Bayley is getting fired up now. Bayley went up top and hit a beautiful Flying Elbow Drop for a 2-count. Charlotte has the Figure-Four locked in now, not quite a Figure-Eight. But Bayley reverses the hold and then Charlotte reverses it. Charlotte tried a Moonsault but Bayley got the knees up. She went for the pin but only got a 2-count. Charlotte hits Natural Selection on the ring apron and covers Bayley for the 3-count. Charlotte Flair retains her Women's Championship.

2. WWE Universal Championship No Disqualification Match: "The Prizefighter" Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns

The crowd seems to be more in favor of Kevin Owens here tonight. Owens and Jericho attack Reigns before the bell. Reigns is fighting back now. The match won't start until Jericho enters the shark cage. Reigns has just thrown the U.S. Champion Jericho into the shark cage and the cage is being elevated above the ring now. The match officially begins and KO is attacking Reigns. They're brawling in the crowd now. Reigns is in control for the time being. KO turns things around and sends Roman shoulder-first into the steps. Owens pulled a bunch of steel chairs out from under the ring. Kevin Owens just Cannonballed Reigns on the barricade. Owens is attacking the ribs of Reigns. Reigns has just gotten a table from under the ring. But Owens hits a Backstabber for a near fall. Owens went for the Superkick, Reigns counters it into a Sitout Powerbomb for a 2-count. Reigns hits a Drive-By on Owens after KO rolled out of the ring. KEVIN OWENS JUST FROG SPLASHED ROMAN REIGNS THROUGH A TABLE OUTSIDE THE RING FROM THE TOP ROPE! Reigns manages to kick out at 2 though. KO just hit Reigns hard with a steel chair right across the back. Owens hit a Superkick and threw Reigns head-first into a chair in the corner. 2-count. Jericho just threw brass knuckles down to KO from the cage. Reigns takes the knuckles away from KO but KO hits a big Superman Punch on Reigns for a 2-count. Reigns just gave KO a Samoan Drop through a steel chair. That looked sick. Owens kicks out though. Reigns hits a Superman Punch but KO kicks out. Kevin Owens just gave Roman Reigns a Stone Cold Stunner! But Reigns kicks out! KO tried to Superplex Reigns outside the ring through a stack of chairs that KO set up earlier but Reigns gave him a Superman Punch and KO fell through the tower of chairs. REIGNS POWERBOMBS OWENS THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE! Kevin Owens appears to be finished! BRAUN STROWMAN! BRAUN STROWMAN JUST DESTROYED ROMAN REIGNS! And Kevin Owens RETAINS the WWE Universal Championship!

3. WWE Cruiserweight Championship: Rich Swann vs. Adrian Neville

After a short feeling-out process, Swann hit a Dropkick and a Plancha on Neville. Neville quickly turns the tide though and now the former NXT Champion is in control. Neville hits a Missile Dropkick on Swann for a 2-count. Neville was looking for the Rings of Saturn but Swann got to the ropes. Hard Snap Suplex by Neville. They're outside the ring now and it's all Neville. Swann is in dire straits right now. Neville tried to fly but Swann caught him with a HUGE Superkick right in the face! Swann gives Neville a Twisting 450 Splash outside the ring! Swann just kicked Neville's head off with a Roundhouse Kick but Neville still kicked out at 2! Swann hits the big Rich Kick but Neville was close enough to the ropes to break the count. Neville hits the Superplex from the top but Swann kicks out. Neville locks in the Rings of Saturn submission hold and defeats Rich Swann to become the NEW WWE Cruiserweight Champion!

4. WWE Championship Match: "The Phenomenal" A.J. Styles vs. 15-time WWE World Champion John Cena

There's an undeniable big-fight atmosphere in the Alamodome! Styles is in control in the opening minutes of the match but Cena Back Body Drops Styles. The pace is fairly slow right now and Styles is in control. Styles hits a German Suplex and follows with a Wheelbarrow Facebuster but Cena kicks out. Cena turns Styles inside out with a hard Clothesline. Styles puts Cena in a Torture Rack and turns it into a Spinout Powerbomb but Cena kicks out at 2. Styles goes for the Phenomenal Forearm but Cena moves and hits the Attitude Adjustment! But Styles kicks out at 2! Cena takes Styles' head off once again with another vicious Clothesline. Cena went for another Clothesline but Styles ducks and hits the Pele Kick. Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm but Cena kicks out! Cena hits an Electric Chair Facebuster on Styles. Calf Crusher! Calf Crusher! Styles has the Calf Crusher locked in on Cena... Cena counters into the STF on Styles! Styles has the STF on Cena now! And now John Cena has the Figure-Four Leglock on A.J. Styles. Cross Armbreaker by Styles now. THE POWER OF JOHN CENA! Cena powers out of the Cross Armbreaker. Cena went for the Top Rope Legdrop but Styles moves... STYLES CLASH! BUT CENA KICKS OUT! Styles went for the Springboard 450 Splash but Cena got the knees up. Cena does the Sunset Flip but Styles kicks out. Styles hits the Fireman's Carry into a Backbreaker but Cena kicks out! 5. The 2017 WWE Royal Rumble Match

The first entrant in the Rumble Match is "Big Cass" Colin Cassady. Number Two is the United States Champion, the legendary Chris Jericho. This is his 10th Rumble Match. Here comes Kalisto. Here comes Mojo Rawley. Number 5 is "The Extraordinary Gentleman" Jack Gallagher. Gallagher low blowed Jericho with the umbrella. Number 6 is "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry! Henry eliminates Jack. HERE COMES BRAUN STROWMAN AT NUMBER SEVEN! Strowman eliminates Mojo. Strowman is cleaning house! Braun has eliminated four people! And Number 8 is Sami Zayn. Strowman is dominating the Rumble right now. He's manhandling Zayn. But here comes Number 9, The Big Show! Strowman and Show are staring at each other... Strowman knocks Show down with a Clothesline after Show unleashed some body blows. Show Chokeslams Strowman! Big Show just knocked out Jericho. Braun Strowman has eliminated Big Show. NUMBER 10 IS "THE PERFECT TEN" TYE DILLINGER FROM NXT! Zayn and Dillinger are double teaming Braun. Number 11 is James Ellsworth with Carmella at his side. Number 12 is the Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose! Strowman eliminates Ellsworth. That was Braun's sixth elimination in this match. Number 13 is "The Lone Wolf" Baron Corbin. Braun eliminates Tye Dillinger. BARON CORBIN ELIMINATES BRAUN STROWMAN! Here comes Kofi Kingston of The New Day at Number 14. Number 15 is The Miz. Number 16 is "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus. Sheamus and Cesaro eliminate all three members of New Day! Sheamus and Cesaro eliminated by Jericho! Number 23 is "The Viper" Randy Orton! RKOs left and right! Number 24 is Dolph Ziggler. Number 25 is Luke Harper. Harper eliminates Crews. Harper attacked Bray and Orton. Harper went for Sister Abigail on Bray but Orton RKO'd him. NUMBER 26 IS BROCK LESNAR! LESNAR IS DESTROYING EVERYBODY IN SIGHT! Number 27 is Enzo Amore. NUMBER 28 IS BILL GOLDBERG! GOLDBERG SPEARS LESNAR AND ELIMINATES HIM!!! Bill Goldberg is cleaning house here! Number 29 is THE UNDERTAKER! UNDERTAKER ELIMINATES GOLDBERG!!! Number 30 is Roman Reigns. And Roman Reigns has just eliminated The Undertaker! And the crowd absolutely hates it! Reigns eliminates Jericho. It's down to Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton. Reigns eliminated Bray Wyatt. He went for a Spear on Randy Orton AND ORTON CAUGHT HIM WITH THE RKO! RANDY ORTON ELIMINATES ROMAN REIGNS TO WIN THE 2017 ROYAL RUMBLE!
