A Denial Of Service Attack Had Briefly Taken WWE Network Offline For East Coast Users

A lot of big names sites have been hit with denial of service attacks today. Some sites included are Twitter, Spotify, Netflix, and Amazon.

The attacks started around 7am Friday morning, and it seems that these attacks are mostly affecting users on the east coast. . Amazon has issued a statement confirming that these DNS attacks were affecting their east coast customers. There’s no update yet on where these attacks were coming from.

A popular Cloud service provider called Heroku Inc confirmed “widespread” DNS issues. The issues were resolved before Thursday afternoon. As of right now, the WWE Network is up again for east coast users.
