[WNS Column] Survivor Series Breakdown #2 by Nicholas Pruner

While my last column was just yesterday, these will only be posted on Tuesdays after RAW most weeks previewing the upcoming Pay-Per-View. Two matches have been confirmed now, and we can be sure about some others because they have been pretty obvious.

Intercontinental Championship: Kevin Owens (c) Vs. Dean Ambrose

During the five-on-five elimination tag team match on RAW, Dean Ambrose pinned Kevin Owens to eliminate him. I predict this match to happen based on the "You get a match if you can pin the champion." I'll be mad if this match doesn't happen, because of how many times WWE has used that logic. Owens should win. Let him hold the title until Sami Zayn comes back for an awesome feud on the main roster.

Winner and Still the Intercontinental Champion: Kevin Owens

Tyler Breeze (with Summer Rae) Vs. Dolph Ziggler

While I wouldn't mind if they hold off on this match to build up the feud more, I wouldn't be surprised if this match happens at Survivor Series. Breeze has now attacked Ziggler on multiple occasions and their first match should be a simple feud based on Ziggler wanting revenge. Breeze should win to set up another match. This feud will be good.

Winner: Tyler Breeze

United States Championship: Alberto Del Rio (c) (with Zeb Colter) Vs. Jack Swagger

On RAW, Jack Swagger returned to talk to Zeb Colter to question him working with Alberto Del Rio. It didn't take long for Del Rio to show up to tell Swagger to "stay away from him and Zeb". This is a match I'm blindly pulling from my behind. Del Rio needs something to do at Survivor Series, and a 10 minute win over Swagger with a buildup over Zeb Colter could be just what he needs for now.

Winner and still United States Champion: Alberto Del Rio

Tag Team Championships: The New Day (c) Vs. The Usos

With the Usos returning on RAW to be the counterpart tag team to the New Day on Team Reigns, this match should be set in stone as long as there's not a second Survivor Series Tag Match. The New Day need a fresh feud, because their feud with the Dudleyz has worn off big time. The New Day should win. Let them hold on to the titles for a bit longer.

Winners and still the WWE Tag Team Champions: The New Day

Divas Championship: Charlotte (c) Vs. Paige

It was pretty obvious that Paige was gonna win that Fatal-Four-Way Match on RAW. The buildup would be silly if Charlotte was going to face say Brie Bella but have this storyline on the side with Paige turning heel. The buildup has been simple. Paige attacked Natalya on Smackdown a few weeks ago because Natalya is a mind reader and saw the Paige heel turning coming (just joking). Paige says that she didn't attack Natalya, but it's obvious to Charlotte and Becky Lynch. Paige convinced them that she was cool leading to a tag team match with Team Bella last week, but Paige attacked her partners. Charlotte should win to get sweet revenge, and move on to a feud with Sasha Banks.

Winner and still Divas Champion: Charlotte

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) Vs. Roman Reigns

Last week on RAW, Roman Reigns defeated Alberto Del Rio, Kevin Owens, and Dolph Ziggler to get the opportunity to face Rollins for the WWE Title at a future point. Stephanie McMahon announced last night that this match would take place at Survivor Series, acting like none of us saw it coming. There was little buildup for this match, except for the random Survivor Series elimination match on RAW which saw Reign's team (Himself, The Usos, Ryback, and Dean Ambrose) defeat Rollins' team (Rollins, The New Day, and Kevin Owens). Rollins attacked Reigns and Ambrose with a steel chair after the match, but Reigns got the upper hand and nailed Rollins with a Superman Punch. This match should NOT go on last at Survivor Series. Let the Undertaker main event on his 25th Anniversary. Rollins should win. I predict a DQ finish, maybe with an Ambrose heel turn to start setting up that Wrestlemania Triple Threat that's predicted.

Winner by Disqualification and still WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Seth Rollins

Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match: The Undertaker, Kane, ?, & ? Vs. The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, & Braun Strowman)

This match should be obvious. The attacks on Kane and the Undertaker, as well as Bray Wyatt boasting about his power on RAW, should make this match obvious. I predicted the Dudleyz before to team with Undertaker. I still believe that so they can have something to do until further notice (The Dudleyz are contracted until February 2016). This match could have the selling point of the Brothers of Destruction back together, or Undertaker's 25th anniversary. This should main event the show. Let Wyatt win. Give Luke Harper a long time in the match, he's the best worker of the Wyatts. The Wyatts should win. Bray needs to be kept strong, especially if they want Wyatt in a high-profile match at Wrestlemania.

Winners: The Wyatt Family

That's 7 matches, with only two of them announced. We will see in the upcoming weeks what else is announced. I believe that there will be a second Survivor Series match at the show (There's been two or more since the 2011 event), and I believe they will keep that 3-year long tradition with some midcard teams and superstars (or maybe even a Diva tag match, which would be great). I don't expect more than 8 matches though. The Survivor Series match with the Wyatts and Undertaker/Kane should get 30+ minutes. Let that match have time to develop.

That's all for now. Check back next Tuesday as there should be the 3rd breakdown (as long as more matches are made/feuds are developed). For now, be happy that Xavier Woods is back, and never bet on the Miz to win anything. Have a wonderful week.
