WWE Raw Results (5/18/15) Richmond, Virginia

WWE Signature

Raw Intro

Welcome to Monday Night Raw and this week Raw comes to us from Richmond Virginia and we kick things off with The Authority making their way out to the ring

Stephanie welcomes everyone to Raw and asks the WWE Universe if they missed her and gets a round of boos from the crowd. She says it's great to be back on the heels of a successful night

And says the World Champion defeated not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4 opponents last night and the future has never looked brighter. Triple H then says everyone questioned their choice for WWE Champion but they're smart business people.

Stephanie says tonight they will tribute Seth Rollins and his opponents from last night Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns will have to acknowledge their inferiority and have to go to the back of the line. They unveil the Intercontinental Championship and remind everyone of Daniel Bryan's relinquishment of the championship

She calls Daniel Bryan standing in the ring and relinquishing the title courageous but unlike Bryan's career the show must go on. Triple H says in 2 weeks they will crown a new Intercontinental Championship and it will be decided inside the Elimination Chamber

Triple H calls the Chamber brutal and bones will be broken and careers shortened when 6 men enter the chamber. Sheamus makes his way out to the ring

The crowd starts chanting "You Look Stupid". Sheamus says he' a fan of both Triple H and Stephanie and loves what they've done with the place. He says they don't need an elimination chamber match for the Intercontinental Championship because they're looking at the one man who single-handedly ended the Yes Movement and feels he should be rewarded and asks them to give him the title and make him the new Intercontinental Champion.

Ryback then comes out.. The crowd starts a "Feed Me More" chant and says Sheamus looks stupid. He says Daniel Bryan has more heart, passion and determination than Sheamus will ever have.

Bryan may not be 6 feet tall and look like them but is more of a man than Sheamus will ever be and ruined his body becoming Intercontinental Champion and since Sheamus likes to pick on little guys maybe in Richmond Sheamus should pick on The Big Guy and he doesn't like bullies and doesn't like Sheamus

Stephanie says they will both compete in the Elimination Chamber but Triple H says he kind of likes what's going on here and maybe they can go one on one right now

Still To Come: Architect Of A Dream - Seth Rollins Tribute

The Authority's Office: Stephanie says Architect Of A Dream is a strong movement needed to be headed up by a strong man and in walks Kane who says he thinks Seth Rollins has grown up. Rollins and J & J walk in with champagne and says no one deserves champagne more than Kane because he saved Kane's job. Dean Ambrose walks in and re-asesses the scorecard and last time he and Rollins wrestled he beat Rollins and challenges Rollins to a title match at Elimination Chamber.

Renee Young was standing by for an interview. She welcomed out Neville to address a re-match with King Barrett coming up next after Neville beat Barrett via count-out last night at Payback. First, though, she wanted to know what Neville thinks about being a new WWE Superstar. Neville talked up competing here in WWE, then said he might not be the biggest guy in WWE, but there is nothing he loves more than proving his doubters long. Neville said when he stands on the top rope and looks down on his opponent, he feels like he is ten feet tall and invincible.

Suddenly, Bo Dallas's music interrupted. Dallas, sans goatee/scraggly facial hair, said there is nothing more inspirational than hearing a good children's story. He said Neville is the Little Engine That Couldn't. Bo entered the ring to insult Neville, who replied that Bo is the guy he beat to begin his NXT Title reign. Bo could not stand the insult, so he tackled him to the mat and targeted Neville's injured knee from Payback. Neville fought back and Bo scampered out of the ring, then King Barrett's music played, saving Bo from further punishment.

2. King Barrett vs Adrian Neville

Bo Dallas joined commentary to address his attack on Neville. He said he was really just trying to help Neville by making him stronger if he overcomes the injured knee. In the ring, Barrett worked over Neville before dragging him out of the ring to yank the knee down across the ring apron. Neville sold as Raw cut to break.

2015 Celebrity Mega Dad Of The Year: Titus O'Neil

Rusev comes out to the ring without Lana. Rusev takes the mic and says there is no Lana. Lana needs to learn her place and does not speak for him. Rusev speaks the American language perfectly and knows how to say I Quit. The crowd starts chanting "We Want Lana". Rusev yells that There Is No Lana and tells the crowd to shut up. He never said I Quit. He crushed John Cena and beat him so bad he passed out and then Lana quit because she's weak. Rusev demands John Cena and The Authority come out and wants this match restarted. Lana comes out and says she wanted to explain herself to everyone and Rusev is not who he appears to be. He is not just the Bulgarian Brute. He's misunderstood. Lana says she's believed in him from the very beginning and was positive he'd be the first to make Cena say I Quit but it did not happen and she was just trying to protect him because she cares for him. Rusev calls Lana pathetic and disgusting. Lana says she did the right thing for him and for them and couldn't stand to watch him in pain. He was screaming in Bulgarian I Quit I Quit I Quit. The crowd starts chanting "You Quit". Rusev calls Lana a liar and there is no them there is only him and he doesn't need her. She's weak and makes him weak and yells for her to get out of the ring and go back where she came from.. Rusev then turned to the hard camera and triumphantly shouted "Rusev!" toward the crowd. Cole called Rusev an absolutely awful human being. JBL said he agrees with Rusev. Cole said that was a disgusting display from Rusev. Cole then made it official that Rusev said I Quit last night at Payback.

Dean Ambrose vs Bray Wyatt

As the bell sounded, Cole noted that Ambrose has a legitimate argument for a title shot against Seth Rollins, who he beat a few weeks ago on Raw to be entered in the WWE Title match at Payback. Cole also ntoed that it's rare to see Bray wrestle on Raw. Ambrose and Bray locked up, which Bray won before bodyslamming Dean. But, Dean avoided a flying butt splash and went after Bray with Muta-style elbows. Dean then took his time wrenching on Bray's arm, trying to separate the joints. Bray escaped, then raked his eyes. Uppercut to Dean.

Dean fought back with standing rights, but ran into a giant cross-body smash from Wyatt. Bray then kicked Dean in the back before delivering a running boot to the chest. Bray stalked Dean to deliver right hands, then lit him up with corner strikes. Bray settled on a chinlock, but Ambrose broke free and suddenly exploded out of the corner to surprise Bray with a clothesline. Dean wanted a flying splash on the outside, but Bray intercepted and suplexed Dean right down to the floor. Dean sold immense back pain heading to break.

-Commercial-

Back from break, the announcers brought up the series of matches between Dean and Bray late last year and earlier this year, where they beat each other up night after night. Bray and Dean ended up on the outside, where referee John Cone (referenced on the air) administered a ten count. Both men ran back into the ring at eight, then resumed the fight as the crowd chanted for tables, remembering their feud from months ago.

Dean tackled Bray, then delivered a corner smash into a running bulldog. Dean then trapped Bray inside the ropes to deliver a running dropkick. Dean followed with a leg drop from the corner, but he sold injuring his leg executing the move. Dean collected himself and stalked Bray as Booker ruined the moment talking about entertaining the audience. It just ruined the sales pitch of two guys who do not like each other fighting to see who is superior.

The match continued with Ambrose wanting the rebound lariat on Bray, who had his back to Dean, but Bray spun around and smashed Dean with a lariat. Cole said it's like Bray has a sixth sense to see it coming. Perhaps Bray just happened to look up at the Titantron to see it coming, but nevertheless it played up Bray's mystical character having extra super-powers. Bray hung upside down in the corner to set up for his next move, but Dean surprised Bray with a rebound lariat for a close two count.

Reset at 12:30, then Dean wanted a top-rope move, but Bray knocked him down to the mat. Bray then wanted his flying butt splash, like he gave to Ryback last night at Payback, but Dean rolled out of the way just in time. Dean wanted a top-rope move, but J&J Security suddenly showed up ringside. Jamie Noble shoved Dean off the top rope right into Sister Abigail while Joey Mercury had the ref occupied. Bray then covered Dean for the win.

The winner of the match: Bray Wyatt

Post Match: After the bell sounded, they showed Triple H and Stephanie watching backstage with big smiles on their faces. Seth Rollins then showed up on the entrance stage to congratulate J&J Security on a job well-done. Back in the ring, Bray posed over Ambrose, then his video interruption played.

Cole then relayed news that R-Truth, King Barrett, and Rusev have been added to the Chamber IC Title match. The last participant joining Ryback and Sheamus will be named later in the show. As for the current title match, Kidd had Kofi in the Sharpshooter, but Big E. broke up the submission. Dolph Ziggler vs Stardust

Ziggler, sporting a cut eye, tried to fight through Stardust's early attack as the crowd taunted Stardust with "Cody, Cody" chants. Ziggler then decided to end things with Zig-Zag out of nowhere. It was good for a pin 90 seconds into the match. Booker said Ziggler is back on track.

The winner of the match: Dolph Ziggler

Post Match: Cole entered the ring to talk to Ziggler, who tried to do a movie line about being hideous, so look away. The crowd didn't take it, then Ziggler got serious talking about chicks digging scars like hockey players, so he's ready to go. Cole told Ziggler that one spot remains in the IC Title Chamber match, and that spot will be filled by ... Dolph ZIggler. Ziggler said it's about time. He said he'll gladly go through Sheamus to get the IC Title.

Suddenly, Lana walked down to ringside. Ziggler was a bit confused and the crowd wasn't sure what to make of this. Lana walked up to Ziggler batting her eyes toward him. Lana then approached Ziggler and went for a kiss as Ziggler tried not to break up laughing. Lana planted a kiss, then they kind of stood in the ring awkwardly. The crowd did "Yes!" chants, then transitioned to "one more time." Lana approached Ziggler once again, then kissed him again. Lana smiled, then Ziggler started looking over his shoulder for Rusev to come out.

Rusev stormed down to the ring as Booker said someone is going to die. Rusev charged Ziggler, who met him in the ring. Rusev tackled Ziggler, then superkicked him across the ring. Rusev turned his attention toward Lana, who slapped him across the face. Rusev turned very angry, then stalked Lana, allowing Ziggler to grab Rusev from behind for the Zig-Zag. Ziggler then escorted Lana out of the ring and they headed to the back. Back in the ring, Rusev got up ranting and raving.

Backstage: Kane talked to the production crew about getting that carpet sparkling clean for Seth Rollins's celebration. He clapped it up, then paused when he walked next to Adam Rose and Rosa Mendes randomly making out in the hallway. Kane decided to keep on walking heading to break

Fandango started things off for the random babyface pairing. Rowan and Harper worked over Fandango while the crowd lightly chanted for Ryder. Fandango eventually made it to Ryder, who delivered a flying dropkick to Harper. But, he ran right into a swinging sidewalk slam. Harper then tagged in Rowan, who combined with Harper for a double-team superkick and Full Nelson Slam. Rowan covered Ryder for the win.

The winners of the match: Erick Rowan & Luke Harper

Backstage: Stephanie McMahon kind of sarcastically greeted the Bella Twins in the hallway. Steph, who associated with The Bellas before they well, never actually turned face, said she would like to schedule some counseling sessions for Brie Bella with the Daniel Bryan situation. The Authority is in the ring and Stephanie proudly introduces the Architect Of A Dream Seth Rollins. Rollins comes out with J & J. Triple H says they believed in Seth from the first moment they saw him in NXT.

He became NXT Champion then went on to make history when he won the WWE World Championship at Wrestlemania.

Since then he beat 6 men in three matches and has lived up to every claim he's ever made and he sees the reflection of another WWE Superstar and when he looks at The Architect he sees the reflection of The Cerebral Assassin and seeing him use the pedigree on Sunday gave him goosebumps and The Authority and WWE Universe are here to celebrate Seth Rollins.

Each member then takes turns saying a few words about Rollins. Kane is up first and says where he can he possibly begin. There's so many things he'd like to say to Rollins right now and everyone knows they haven't seen eye to eye but he's a foot taller than Rollins but says they wouldn't be here without each other and he's glad Rollins is still champion and is truly what's best for business. Kane thanks Rollins for saving his job and to prove he means it he put together a video package

Jamie Noble says it's been a privilege serving Rollins and Triple H and Stephanie made the right decision putting their faith in Rollins. Mercury then takes the mic but before he can say anything Dean Ambrose comes out.

Stephanie tells Ambrose he has a lot of nerve coming into the ring. Ambrose apologizes and says he was out looking for the perfect Justin Bieber CD for him and the crowd starts chanting "Jusitn Bieber". Ambrose says he came up empty but will give Rollins another opportunity to face him with the title on the line.

Rollins says he is the Architect of a Dream but it's Ambrose dreaming if he thinks he's getting a title shot. Rollins says Ambrose is at the back of the line.

Ambrose says he's a line jumper and wants his shot. Stephanie asks Ambrose who he thinks he is and says he lost last night but Rollins is a fighting champion and tells Rollins to get him. A brawl breaks out between Rollins and Ambrose. J & J get involved but rollins and Ambrose spill out to the floor. Ambrose disposes of J & J and backdrops Rollins over the announce table. Ambrose exposes cinder blocks and threatens to crack Rollins across the back with a steel chair

Stephanie says if Ambrose let's Rollins go he's got his championship match. Back in the ring Rollins looks to escape. Kane goes for a chokeslam but Ambrose clotheslines him and Rollins returns and delivers a pedigree to Ambrose and stands over Ambrose holding the championship up high as Raw goes off the air

-End Show-
