WWE Smackdown Results (2/26/15) *LIVE COVERAGE*

Welcome to SmackDown coming to us from the Atlanta, Georgia. We are joined on commentary by Jerry “The King” Lawler, Michael Cole, and Byron Saxton. They announce tonight is a rematch from Fast Lane with Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, and Erick rowan vs. Big Show, Seth Rollins, and Kane.

Daniel Bryans music hits and he makes his way to the ring. They recap his loss to Roman Reigns at Fast lane. The crowd chants “Yes, Yes, Yes” and Bryan screams “No, No, No”. Bryan says that is what he would say a couple years ago because he was frustrated and not getting any opportunity and no one was in his corner but he was wrong because the fans were in his corner. He said last year he won in the main event at WrestleMania because the fans were in his corner. He says due to injury he lost the title but at Fast Lane he got a second chance to get everything back but he failed. Bryan said this year there is no main eventing WrestleMania and that has led to people asking if the “Yes” movement is dead.

He then chants “No, No, No” and says he won’t back down. He starts to say what his plans are for WrestleMania but the music of Bad News Music hits and cuts him off. Barrett says no one wants to hear Bryans little sob story. He then says he has some bad news for him losers like Bryan don’t deserve the spotlight just like Dean Ambrose.

He says Ambrose has stolen his title and he tells Bryan if he doesn’t get out of the ring he is going to show the world what happens when someone steps on him. Ambrose music hits and he comes to the ring. Barrett and Ambrose fight to the outside as Bryan looks on. Bryan picks up the Intercontinental Championship as Barrett gets back in the ring. Bryan won’t give the title to Barrett he finally does but Ambrose takes out Barrett as Bryan chants “Yes, Yes, Yes” with the fans.

They discuss Reigns vs. Lesnar at WrestleMania and the interview Byron had with Reigns earlier in the day that will air tonight.

Ambrose is still in the ring as the Miz makes his way to the ring. They point out Mizdow is not with the Miz tonight because he may be shooting a commercial.

Dean Ambrose vs. the Miz

We start with some back and forth with Ambrose attempting a roll up for a two count. Ambrose gets the upper hand with some chops but Miz hits a neck breaker and gets a two count. Miz wears Ambrose down with a chin lock. Ambrose hits a kick and some punches. Ambrose hits a running elbow then a bulldog. Ambrose goes to the top rope. Barrett comes out and takes the IC title back but Ambrose jumps onto him and takes it back. Ambrose gets back in the ring and Miz goes for the “Skull Crushing Finale” but Ambrose reverses and hits a clothesline and then “Dirty Deeds” for the win.

Post Match:  We see Barrett leave with his IC title.

They recap the return of Randy Orton at Fast Lane and what took place between Orton and the Authority on RAW. They hype the 6-Man tag tonight.

Back from the break we are in the back where Rene young stops Bad News Barrett. He says he took what was his. Barrett says neither Ambrose nor Bryan can hold a candle to him in the ring. He says he is never letting the title go again.

Naomi is already in the ring with the Usos. Her opponent Natalya comes to the ring with the Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd & Cesaro. They recap what took place between the six on RAW.

Natalya vs. Naomi

We start with a head lock take down by Natalya. Natalya then hits a shoulder tackle. They have some back and forth ended by a roll attempt for two by Naomi. Naomi puts Natalya in a head scissors leg lock and tries to wear her down. Natalya turns it into a tilt-a-whirl that Naomi rolls through. They both hit a cross body as they lay in the center of the ring. Naomi hits a huge kick to the leg of Natalya. Kidd gets on the ring apron and one of the Usos super kicks him off, this leads to a brawl on the outside. In the ring Natalya hit a clothesline and gets the pin for the win.

After the match they recap what took place between Cena and Rusev at fast lane as we see Rusev and Lana heading to the ring as we go to a break.

Back from the break Lana and Rusev are in the ring. Rusev says the U.S. title is the symbol of a true champion. Lana says an American Champion is someone that stands tall full of pride above everyone else. Rusev stands above Americans beneath him. Lana shows a video where they mock Cena. Rusev says when it gets tuff all Americans give up. Lana says they were surprised when Cena gave up she says Rusev doesn’t answer to someone that falls asleep on the job. She says Rusev as received e-mails from President Putin that gives him praise and she reads one of the e-mails. Rusev says he will have a great match at WrestleMania that is worth his time but that opponent will not be Cena.

The music of Jack Swagger hits and he comes out. Swagger asks Rusev if he is scared of John Cena and says if Rusev is scared to fight he came to the wrong city. He says Rusev is surrounded by real America and real Americans. He then says he will never get tired of this and puts his and hand over his heart and says “we the people”. Rusev attacks Swagger but Swagger takes him down to the mat. They fight in the ring as swagger takes control and knocks Rusev from the ring. They fight outside the ring then back in where Rusev gets the upper hand and destroys Swagger in the ring and puts Swagger in the “Accolade”.  We got to break as they talk about Bryan vs. Barrett that is next.

Back from the break Barrett and Bryan are both already in the ring. R Truth is at commentary he calls Byron Coach and says he loves watching him on SportsCenter as the bell rings.

Daniel Bryan vs. Bad News Barrett

They have some back and forth which Bryan eventually gets the upper hand of. Bryan takes Barrett down face first into the corner. R Truth talks about #GiveTruthAChance and how he wants a shot at the IC title. In the ring Bryan gives Barrett an uppercut and knocks him to the mat. Bryan tries to apply the surfboard submission but drives the knees of Barrett into the mat instead. Barrett fights back with a suplex and gets a two count. Bryan hits some uppercuts but Barrett hits the “Winds of Change” when Bryan attempts the running knee. Barrett throws Bryan outside the ring and dances in the ring with IC title as we go to a break….

Back from the break Bryan is in control and goes for a cover but only gets a two count. Barrett applies a chin lock but Bryan fights to his feet. Bryan hits a clothesline and gets some momentum. Bryan hits a series of kicks to the chest of Barrett and gets a two count. Bryan goes for a running kick in the corner but misses. Barrett goes outside the ring to find the title that had fallen on the floor. Bryan kicks Barrett through the ring ropes and then hits a suicide dive to the outside.  Back in the ring Bryan goes to the top turnbuckle but Barrett catches him. Barrett goes for “Wasteland” but Bryan reverses it into the “Yes Lock”. R Truth quotes Robin Hood and sneaks up and takes the Intercontinental Championship. Barrett gets to the ropes and breaks the hold as R truth sits back down with the title. Barrett throws Bryan into the ring post. Barrett goes for the “Bull Hammer” but Bryan hits a running Knee and gets the pin for the win.

After the match Bryan celebrates as Byron points out people are stealing the IC title. They recap the match highlights. Barrett notices his IC title is missing and asks the referee where it is. R Truth tells Barrett he saw nothing as Barrett sits on the announcers table. The announcers  switch to talking about the 1 year anniversary of the WWE Network.

We got o an interview segment taped earlier in the day between Byron Saxton and Roman Reigns. The highlight of the interview was the emphasize on his great match with Bryan and his upcoming match with Brock Lesnar.

Back in the ring is Rosa as Fandango comes dancing out as we go to a break.

Back from the break they congratulate the Bushwackers for being the most recently announced to be inducted into the WWE HOF.

In the back R Truth approaches Dean Ambrose. They have a very comical exchange which Ambrose says he is going to want the title back. R truth gives it to him and says two title changes in one night SmackDown is on fire.

Back at ringside Curtis Axel comes out they mention Ryback, Curtis Axel, and Fandango are the most recent entrants into the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. Axel has a microphone and says don’t change the channel and says everyone knows at the Royal Rumble he was never eliminated and he is still in it and he set a new record for how long he was in the Royal Rumble. He said no superstar eliminated him just like no one will eliminate him from the Andre the Giant battle Royal, he then chants “AxelMania”.

Curtis Axel vs. Fandango

They start with some back and forth then Axel throws fandango outside the ring. Axel points at the WrestleMania sign as fandango rushes in and rolls him up for a two count. Fandango hits a suplex then goes to the top rope and hits the “Last Dance: and gets the three count for the win.

We got to the back where we see Mizdow filming his commercial; he says the lines “You will never have to use another product again this little pill will set you free”. Miz interrupts and says he is doing it all wrong and he has seen acting this bad sense Michael Keaton in Birdman which Mizdow points out he was nominate for an Oscar. The Miz goes on to mock and insult him. The director gives Miz the part as Miz screams for makeup. They mention the face-to-face between Sting and HH which is next as we go to a break.

Back from the break they hype the Muscle Fitness magazine that Vince McMahon is on the cover of. We recap the confrontation between Sting and HHH as we get a special look at the Franchise Sting. They hype Sting vs. HHH at WrestleMania as Adam Rose makes his way to the ring with the Rosebuds. They go to a video from earlier today where Adam Rose talks about this year’s WrestleMania and how he is entering the Andre the Giant Battle Royal as we go to a break.

Back from the break we see Stardust attack on Goldust after Fast Lane. Goldust makes his way to the ring to face Adam Rose.

Goldust vs. Adam Rose

Rose quickly attacks Goldust slamming him from ring post to ring post. Goldust fights back with some chops and turns the momentum in his favor with a power slam and gets a two count. Goldust hits a kick then hits the “Curtain Call” for the win.

The winner of the match: Goldust

As Goldust walks to the back one of the Rosebuds attacks him and throws him into the ring and we see its Stardust. He continues to destroy Goldust in the ring.

We get another video segment from Bray Wyatt talking to the Undertaker.  Dolph Ziggler’s music hits and he comes out with Ryback and Rowan as Cole points out we haven’t seen or heard from the Undertaker since WrestleMania last year.

Back from the break Seth Rollins music hits and he comes out with Big Show and Kane and J & J Security. They talk about Rollins rivalry with John Stewart and they show the video.

Ryback, Rowan, & Ziggler vs. Kane, Big Show, & Seth Rollins

We start with Kane and Rowan in the ring they run into each other but neither man moves. Rowan then takes Kane off his feet with a shoulder tackle then hits a fall away slam on Kane. Rowan hits a flying elbow and gets a two count. He puts Kane in a side head lock and pulls him into his corner and tags Ziggler. Kane uses a drop toe hold to slam Kane face first into the corner then hits a drop kick and gets a two count. Kane drags Ziggler back to the corner and tags Rollins. Rollins has the upper hand and throws Ziggler into the ropes but Ziggler hits a kick then a splash followed by a neck breaker and a jumping elbow for a two count. Ziggler goes for the “Fameasser” but Rollins avoids it and rolls Ziggler up for the two count. Rollins tags Big Show as Ziggler drop kicks Rollins and rushes in and clotheslines Big Show but Show just pushes him off. Big Show puts Ziggler in a sleeper hold and throws Ziggler to the mat as we go to a break.

Back from the break Kane is in control of Ziggler. Ziggler fights back to his feet but Kane slams him to the mat. Kane goes for an elbow drop but misses. Ziggler goes for the “Fameasser” but Kane connects with a big boot instead. Kane tags Rollins and Rollins gets a two count and then gets another two count. Rollins tags Big Show who head butts Ziggler to the mat and goes to the second rope and splashes Ziggler. Big Show goes for a cover but Ziggler somehow kicks out at two. Ziggler kicks Show in the head and hits the “Fameasser”. Dolph tries to get to his corner but Kane cuts him off. Ziggler hits the DDT on Kane and finally tags Ryback as Kane tags Rollins. Ryback takes out Rollins with a series of clotheslines. Ryback slams Rollins head into the mat then throws Rollins across the ring and then hits a power slam. Ryback hits the “Meat Hook” clothesline as J & J Security come in and get destroyed by Ryback. Ryback goes to hit the “Shellshock” on Rollins and Noble but Big show makes the save. Rowan attacks Big Show as they fall to the outside and Rollins dives and takes out Rowan. Back in the ring Ryback catches Rollins and goes for the “Shellshock” but Kane enters and grabs Ryback by the throat but Ziggler hits the ZigZag as Rollins throws him out of the ring. Rollins kicks Ryback in the face as Rowan destroys J & J Security outside the ring. Rollins goes for the Curb Stomp but Ryback moves and Rollins walks right into a super kick. Ryback hits the “Shellshock” for the three count and the win.

After the match they recap what we just saw as Ryback, Rowan, & Ziggler celebrate in the ring and we go off the air.
