Backstage Update On The Overall Morale In The WWE Lockerroom

The backstage morale in WWE is said to be not very good at all at the moment. Vince McMahon's now infamous "brass ring" comment on Steve Austin's podcast was reportedly taken as an insult by virtually all the Superstars and Divas backstage. He put over Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt during the podcast though, which made a lot of people feel like those four are the only young Superstars who Vince has any confidence in.

Some time after Vince's interview with Austin, Triple H tried to lighten the mood backstage by giving a speech to all the talents, but his speech is said to have backfired.

Regarding Triple H's status with the talents backstage, he is said to be extremely well-liked backstage in NXT, but on the main roster, his recent speech apparently lost him a lot of credibility and had people rolling their eyes. Some of the more veteran talents were said to be especially put off by it.
