The Hydden View: What’s Next?

The Hydden View: What’s Next?

If you could pick one word to describe Survivor Series what would it be? For me it would be WOW. Before Survivor Series I wrote about the five key questions I had before the event. There were many rumors surrounding Survivor Series. Would we really see Ascension, Randy Orton, Sting, and the new stable “A New Day”? I was excited at the potential, for me it had the feel of a mini WrestleMania, so much hype surrounding the event. Well as you all are well aware; we only saw one of those four. Wait, did I say ONLY? My god we saw Sting in A WWE Ring. That was enough for me, that and the way all the storylines played out, I woke up with a WrestleMania hangover in November.

Then we had Monday Night RAW, I was not disappointed with RAW at all they had a hard act to follow. But as RAW went off the air I was left with one question, what’s next? Here are the key points we were left with after Survivor Series

1. We have new Tag Team Champions.

2. Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt are not even close to finished.

3. Big Show turned on Team Cena and is now considered a traitor.

4. Dolph Ziggler put on the performance of his career, and seems to be getting the push he deserves

5. And finally, Sting made his first ever appearance in a WWE ring.

I had my five questions going into Survivor series, now I have my five questions after. First what’s next for Miz and Mizdow? I started with this because it’s the easiest, you know they are headed for a split, then a feud, but how do they get there? They are going to need a feud against another team to build this story, is this where we get Ascension? I don’t think so, in my opinion this is a perfect place to continue establishing Los Matadores. Yes I said it, Los Matadores, they are a good team in the ring, and have worked hard. But two things need to happen for them to get over I believe. First, they need lose the mask; second they need to lose El Torito.

Next, where are Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt headed? Well we know part of that answer, there headed to TLC for another match. Is this where we finally get Ascension? I don’t think we should, this is a feud best had between these two talented men. I don’t know where it’s headed but I’m sure excited about the possibilities. It’s also important to mention before Survivor series I asked a question in regards to Wyatt. I wondered if he could finally have a great match not just good one. I think considering they had a plan to stop this short to continue the feud; Wyatt was as great as he could be in that match.

Big Show becoming a traitor isn’t much of a surprise now, but when he nailed Cena in the chin it was defiantly a “what the hell” moment. At last night’s raw I think we go the answer to the Question what is next for big show, in the answer of Eric Rowan. But, is there a chance we could see a Cena vs. Big Show match at some point, or will they just forget this happen.

Now onto the second biggest moment of the night, but perhaps the moment that meant the most to the future of WWE, Dolph Ziggler. For years we have known Dolph can go in the ring, and his skills on the microphone have been better than most, the question has always been does WWE trust him enough to hitch the cart behind him and go? I think we got that answer at Survivor Series, but what is next for his immediate future? Going for the World Title is not an option right now, not with Cena next in line. Although, in the future, I could see a situation where John Cena gives Ziggler a shot at the belt, much like he did with Daniel Bryan. But, for now I believe a feud with Seth Rollins would be beneficial for both wrestlers. They would put on some great matches, while continuing to add intrigue to who is the real future of WWE. I could see a match where the MITB briefcase was up for grabs.

Finally what’s next for the man they call Sting? First I think most realize he will not wrestle more than one or two matches. He is going to be used as a ratings grabber, and that will work. But, is that what Sting deserves? Who will he face at WrestleMania? I don’t know the answers to these questions but here are the four wish list Items I would like for Sting, I listed them in the order I would hope for them to take place.

1St I would like to see Sting enter the Royal Rumble, not to win but have a great showing.

2nd This on eis all but set in stone, that’s for Sting to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. It would be nice for Ric Flair to be the one to induct him in.

3rd At WrestleMania Sting will wrestle, the question is who? Speculation is the Undertaker; I personally do not want to see this match happen. The words HHH shared Monday have suggested perhaps its HHH vs. Sting, I also do not want this match. I personally would like to see Sting vs. The Rock. I know this may never happen but it’s a match that would draw and entertain millions. Although this will upset many my second choice is John Cena.

4th Finally I would like to see WWE to find a way to bring back Jim Ross just for one night. I think sting deserves his last matched to be called by the hall of Fame broadcaster.

Now I know I have given more questions than answers, but I can say this much after Survivor Series, I have no Idea what the future holds, but the future is very bright.

Writers note: Many of you read these columns, and get my opinions on things I want to talk about. But, what would you like to see talked about, what would you like to be written about? Tweet me your ideas @WNS_Jason and maybe your idea will be my next column.
