Smith Hart Issues Brief Statement On David Benoit's Nixed In-Ring Debut

Smith Hart issued the following brief statement regarding David Benoit's nixed in-ring debut for a July Hart Legacy Wrestling event.

"Here's hoping dissuasion of David Benoit's debut works out best for everyone including every single loyal fan."

The reason Benoit's debut was cancelled was because Chris Jericho got involved and was unhappy that Hart booked Benoit knowing he hadn't received proper in-ring training. Chavo Guerrero, who was to team with Benoit, also backed out when he learned that Benoit wasn't properly trained.
