WWE Raw Results (03/24/14) Brooklyn, New York

Welcome to Monday Night Raw…this week Raw comes to us from Brooklyn, New York

We kick things off with a re-cap of the beatdown Daniel Bryan received last week at the hands of The Authority. We start things off with Stephanie McMahon in the ring and she welcomes everyone to Raw and says Daniel Bryan will not be here tonight. She has read the messages from the WWE Universe saying the attack was disgusting and she agrees but The Authority had to deliver a message to the superstars and divas that insubordination will not be tolerated and the WWE Universe needs a leader to lead them and for 50 years the WWE has been taken to places never taken before. She did not ask for this power, she was given it and says Triple H proved he is The Game and at Wrestlemania he will once again go on to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. This brings out Randy Orton. Orton tells Stephanie he’s not out here to argue or disrespect either Stephanie or Triple H, In fact, he respects them so much to do what he’s ultimately going to have to do. When Triple H defeats Daniel Bryan, her family, friends and sponsors will be in attendance when he defeats both Daniel Bryan and Triple H. He knows they’re only two weeks away from Wrestlemania but tells Stephanie to let Triple H beat the holy hell out of Daniel Bryan once again but leave Wrestlemania a winner and pull out of the triple threat championship match. Out comes Batista. Batista says Orton and Stephanie are out squabbling, the fans are chanting they’re stupid phrases and it’s driving him crazy. He said it from day one he’s going to walk out of Wrestlemania with the WWE World  Heavyweight Championship. Batista says he respects Triple H but the fact is he’s never beaten Batista and if he makes it to the championship match at Wrestlemania he won’t beat Batista and neither will Orton. Batista tells Orton he makes him sick coming out sucking up to Stephanie and Triple H and if Orton gets any closer he can drool on her but come to think of it Stephanie’s been drooled on a lot. Stephanie hauls off and slaps Batista as Orton looks on laughing. Batista turns around and spears Orton and leaves the ring

How can you miss these billboards and merchandising being shoved down everyone’s throats everyday but has Cena ever taken time to really see what Wyatt really is. Michael Cole and Triple H are in the ring for an interview and Cole turns Triple H’s attention to footage from last week’s Raw of the beating Daniel Bryan received at the hands of The Authority. Cole then asks as COO of WWE how can he justify his actions on Daniel Bryan. Triple H says Cole’s question itself is confusing and asks if he wants him to answer as COO or as a competitor at Wrestlemania. Daniel Bryan made it clear what he wanted, the WWE Universe made it clear what they wanted and Triple H made it clear what he wants. He then asks Cole how it feels to be tied up and defenceless and Cole asks if Triple H is referring to Daniel Bryan being handcuffed and Triple H says no it’s not. He’s referring to this little “Yes Movement” and Bryan’s attempt to hijack Raw. Cole calls Bryan’s act inspiring whereas Triple H’s act wasn’t. He said repeatedly he didn’t want to fight Daniel Bryan but the WWE Universe forced his hand and Bryan got exactly what he deserved. Triple H asks what happened to this world since he stopped competing. He did despicable things to people in this ring and he would look out and see defiance. Now, he looks out and sees apathy, pathetic, and little people with no power and no desire who cry when they don’t get what they want. He tells everyone to send him a tweet and he’s sick of everything. He says maybe it’s time for him to change the world and this moment is the beginning of the “Reality Era” and the reality is that at Wrestlemania he ends Daniel Bryan’s supposed run at the top and this pathetic “yes movement” and when he’s done with that, he’s going to step into a triple threat match and no one living on their past glory or untapped potential is going to stop him because the reality is he has the power to make it happen and everyone knows it’s true. The reality era means the reality is he is going to walk out of Wrestlemania as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Cody Rhodes vs Fandango

On commentary, Cole claimed that "over 25" wrestlers have entered the Andre battle royal. Only 17 have been announced, so eight have mysteriously not been accounted for. Or, there's a new WWE Math problem. The announcers then discussed Summer Rae being revealed as a "stooge" last night on Total Divas. JBL made a WWE writer's room crack, then Goldust stalked Summer Rae at ringside. Goldust danced for Summer, who sold an ankle injury. Fandango took a peek, then Cody dropped Fandango with the Disaster Kick for the pin and the win.

The winner of the match: Cody Rhodes

We’re back from commercial and Hulk Hogan makes his way out to the ring. Hogan says he doesn’t mean to come out here and be all nostalgic and we might be in a new borough of the city but it’s in this city where he made history by teaming up with the newest inductee in the WWE Hall Of Fame, Mr. T, and they made history in New York City and he’s really excited about Wrestlemania XXX and real jacked up about the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal but he’s real excited about tonight’s guests the stars of the movie Sabotage. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joe Magniolo come out and Schwarzenegger says it’s wonderful to be back again. One year ago, he was here and had the great honour and pleasure of inducting Bruno Sammartino in the Hall Of Fame. And today he can’t believe he’s standing in the middle of the ring in front of the WWE Universe next to Hulk Hogan. Magniolo says he’s proud to be here to host his very first Monday Night Raw but even more proud to be standing in the ring next to two icons. Schwarzenegger asks Hogan if there’s room for two more in the battle royal. Miz then comes out and says he’s a fan and will be going to the movies to watch Sabotage and knows Schwarzenegger is a fan of his but all that is just acting. Miz is not acting. He IS a tough guy and everyone should believe him when he says he will win the Andre The Giant battle royal and its not an act. Hogan says Miz is in Hogan Country. Miz says he is the most must-see superstar of all time and people are still talking about him main eventing Wrestlemania 27 and defeating John Cena. Schwarzenegger and Magniolo don’t belong here and now Hogan doesn’t belong here either. Magniolo gets in Miz’ face and dares him to make them leave. He shoves Miz and Miz backs away. Miz goes to take a shot but Magniolo  blocks it and delivers a right hand followed by Schwarzenegger. Hogan then tosses Miz over the top rope.

Backstage: Stephanie was shown adjusting Hunter's suit, then The Shield walked in. "Hey guys," Hunter casually said. Seth Rollins spoke first that he wants to know where Hunter was Friday on Smackdown. Dean Ambrose followed up by asking where they stand. Hunter blew off their issue as being with Kane and the Outlaws, not him. Stephanie spoke up next that they'll put them in a match against the Real Americans tonight. Then they can sit down and talk things out. Shield walked off and Stephanie looked toward Hunter to see if they were in the clear.

Restroom:  John Cena was shown having some issues. Cena washed his head in the sink, breathed deeply, and looked into the mirror. He thought he saw something in the mirror, but no one was there. Cena went back to trying to collect himself in the sink area. Cole described Cena's odd behavior as Cena getting ready for his match against Luke Harper tonight. He beat him two nights ago on Smackdown, so what's the issue?

John Cena vs Luke Harper

The bell sounded and a ritualistic dueling chant for and against Cena started up. In the ring, Luke started with a big elbow smash to the face that rocked Cena to the corner. The chants turned into "Let's Go Harper" from the vocal males, then Cena fought back with a corner attack. This drew boos, then Harper cut off Cena to cheers.

Vickie went through their history, then said the one thing she does want to tell her is that she is a real "b----." Which is why she is here to announce that at Mania, A.J. will compete in the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational. Vickie said that A.J.'s opponents will be Naomi and Cameron. And Brie Bella. And Nikki Bella. And Natalya. And Eva Marie (boos). And Emma. And Aksana. And Alicia Fox. And Summer Rae. And Rosa Mendes. And Layla. And Tamina, who sold shock as she stood next to A.J., who clutched her title belt as Vickie cackled to herself.
