Heyman released a Tout teasing the announcement saying:
"Tonight, I'm going to make the announcement of a lifetime." He continued, "It's not something that I want to do. It's something that I'm compelled to do. And I'm sorry for being choked up, but I have to do this. And I'm going to do it the moment Raw comes on the air."
