Welcome to Rochester. New York. And welcome to the final Smackdown of 2012  and we get the recap of the Sheamus-Big Show brawl from Raw and MizTV with Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee as Miz’s guests.

We the final Smackdown of 2012 with Sheamus coming out to a huge ovation and Sheamus says first off he hopes everyone had a merry Christmas and Christmas is his favourite time of year and the greatest gift he got was last week when he defeated Big Show in the Lumberjack Frost Match and makes a New Years resolution and says he will become World Heavyweight Champion. New Years seems so far off and there’s no time like the present and he calls Show out for a title match tonight. Show comes out. Show asks Sheamus if he looks like Santa Claus to him and Sheamus says yes only Show’s way fatter. Show says maybe Sheamus should make a new years resolution of going into stand up comedy because he’d be more successful at stand up comedy than winning the World Heavyweight Championship. He says  Sheamus has a real pathetic case of denial and says he beat Sheamus at HIAC and TLC when it counted and this past Monday he was in his Christmas vacation mode. That victory didn’t count. Sheamus always comes up short when it counts. Sheamus will never tell him when and where and whom to defend his title against and he’s a 7 foot giant and World Champion and Sheamus also says Show’s also a coward who’s afraid to fight him and even though his title wasn’t on the line his pride was. Show says when it counted Sheamus came up short. Sheamus said he pushed Show to the limit and he came to Smackdown for the championship and a fight and if he can’t get the championship he’s sure as hell going to get a fight. Booker T comes out and says Show’s right. He beat Sheamus twice but Sheamus is right as well. He beat Show last week. Show says not a single person in the locker room is worthy of his championship and calls everyone inferior and Booker says he will be in action tonight.  Booker says they’re bringing out all the superstars putting their names in the tumbler and the winner will face Show for the championship tonight. The roster comes out and Show calls it ridiculous and says this is a lottery to see who gets knocked out. Teddy and Eve fight over the tumbler. Booker draws a name and the winner is Santino Marella. Show looks at Santino, laughs and walks off.

Brodus Clay vs Primo

Primo distracted by Epico and Primo going after the legs. Double axehandle to Clayy. Irish whip blocked by Clay. Clay with the whip. Slam by Clay. Epico on the apron gets knocked off. Headbutt by Clay and the Aw  Funk It. The cover for the three count.

The winner of the match: Brodus Clay

Post Match: Rosa gets in Clay’s face and Naomi and Cameron lay her out with a double DDT.

Sheamus is giving Santino advice and Santino says he’s the canvas and Sheamus is the painter and to paint his masterpiece. Sheamus says he beat Show last week and Santino said he must learn the Brogue Kick.

Team Hell No & Kofi Kingston vs Wade Barrett & Rhodes Scholars

Bryan and Rhodes start out. Hammerlock by Bryan and Rhodes with the float over. Bryan with the tag. Slingshot into Kane and Kane with the clothesline. Kane misses with the clothesline in the corner. Sandow in the ring now stomping away at Kane. Kane with the side slam to Sandow. Kingston to the top and a double axehandle.  Barrett in and a shoulderblock to Kingston. Kingston with the dropkick. All six superstars in the ring and a stand off between all six

Sandow with the side Russian legsweep and hits the Elbow Of Disdain to Bryan. Barrett back in with knee strikes to Bryan and the big boot sends Bryan to the apron. Chinlock on Bryan. Hard irish whip in the corner. Rhodes back in stomping away on Bryan. Submission hold on Bryan. Flapjack into the corner by Bryan. Kingston springboard clothesline and double leg takedown on Barrett. Upside down kick to Barrett. Flying crossbody by Kingston. Team Rhodes Scholars taking out Kane and Bryan takes out Rhodes Scholars. Disaster Kick to Bryan. Barrett with the Bull Hammer to Kingston and the cover for the three count.

Backstage: Show is laughing and says tough break for Santino he really wanted him to get his shot and he has the night off. Booker says there will be a world heavyweight championship match tonight and they bring the tumbler back in. Show says Santino had his chance. He got hurt, so Show has the night off. Show wants to know who his opponent is and Booker tells him not to worry

Show says he needs time to practice. Ricardo comes in and Booker says that’s Show’s opponent and Show says this is great and asks what makes him think he can be World Champion and puts the belt on Ricardo’s shoulder and tells Ricardo to announce himself as World Champion and Show knocks him out.

Zack Ryder vs Antonio Cesaro

Ryder and Cesaro lock up and Cesaro with the uppercut. Suplex to Ryder. Chinlock on Ryder and Ryder fighting back. Cesaro with the knee to Ryder. Gutwrench by Cesaro.. Double foot stomp on Ryder and he keeps Ryder grounded.  Faceplant by Ryder, Cesaro runs into the double boots. Dropkick by Ryder and the elbow. Ryder misses with the Broski Boot. The uppercut to the back of the head and Cesaro drops Ryder with the Neutralizer and covers Ryder for the three count

Miz vs Dolph Ziggler

Miz and Ziggler lock up and side headlock takedown by Miz. Shoulderblock by Miz and back to the side headlock takedown. Armdrag by Miz. Ziggler with a punch to Miz and now into the headlock. Shoulderblock by Ziggler and Miz with the flapjack tossing Ziggler over the top rope and Big E Langston catches him. Ziggler back in. Test of strength and a kick to Miz. Neckbreaker by Ziggler. Snapmare and elbow drop  Ziggler holding on wearing Miz down and Miz throws him off. Double leg takedown by Miz. Shoulder tackle by Miz and Ziggler catches Miz with the dropkick mid-air

Elbow drop to Miz.  Back to the chinlock and Miz to his feet fighting back. Elbow to the back of the neck. Back suplex by Miz. Series of clotheslines by Miz. Inverted DDT into a neckbreaker by Miz. Ziggler with the sleeperhold. Miz throws him off and hits the DDT. Miz misses with the boot to the face. Roll up but Miz kicks out. Clothesline to Ziggler. Double axehandle off the top rope. Langston with the distraction and Ziggler from behind with the Zig Zag and the three count

Post match: Miz tells AJ no matter which WWE superstar she’s with, New Year’s Eve will end with a bang and Ziggler runs back in and a brawl ensues and Big E Langston runs in and lays Miz out with Sudden Impact.

Backstage: Booker is checking up on Ricardo and Brad Maddox comes in asking for one more shot and Booker tells him to get out of his face. Booker says he’s getting one more chance but it’s his last. Alberto Del Rio comes in all upset about what happened to Ricardo and Booker puts Alberto Del Rio in the match.

Brad Maddox vs Sheamus

Side headlock by Maddox. Shoulderblock by Sheamus. Waistlock by Maddox and Sheamus throws him off. Side headlock takedown by Sheamus. Maddox pushes Sheamus and runs out of the ring. Sheamus runs after him and Maddox unloading on Sheamus. Irish whip blocked by Sheamus and short arm clothesline by Sheamus.. Sheamus with the Fiery Red Hand. White Noise delivered by Sheamus. Brogue Kick to Maddox and the three count

Jimmy and Young lock up and single leg takedown by Young.  Shoulderblock to Jimmy. And clothesline to Young. Tag to Jey and double back elbow. Double elbow drop.  Back elbow by Young.  O’Neil gets the tag and stomps away at Jey. Clothesline by Young. O’Neil. Young  picks Jey up delivers a gutbuster. Jimmy rolls Jey out of the ring. Young goes to pick Jimmy up. Jimmy with the roll up for the three count

We get a video of The Shield and they say that another year comes to an end. A year that will go down in history  for the scar they’ve left and they’re just getting started. They warned everybody about the bright glaring light they shone down on the injustice. But they didn’t just talk about injustice. They lived to fight it. Another year ends another year begins and the mission will be the same. 2013, they will cleanse the WWE of the disease known as injustice. They have no friends, no allies they don’t want or need anyone and answer to no one. 2013 justice lives and everyone will believe in The Shield.

Backstage: Matt Striker is with Big Show and Show says this is completely ridiculous.  He’s already had two opponents, one pulled a groin and the other got knocked out. He said everyone is a loser, reject, loser or nobody and that means Alberto Del Rio as well. If he wants to come down and get knocked out like Ricardo and make it a trifecta

Alberto Del Rio vs Big Show

Del Rio goes after Show. Show with a headbutt. Kick by Del Rio and another headbutt by Del Rio. Big chop by Show and a forearm across the back. Side headlock takedown by Show and Del Rio with a headscissors.  Big chop to the chest by Show and Del Rio with a headbutt. Show with the irish whip into the ring steps. Submission hold on Del Rio. Body shots from Del Rio and a shoulderblock by Show. Walk over by Big Show. Slam to Del Rio. Elbow drop misses its mark and Del Rio with boots to the face.  Del Rio softening up the arm and goes for the cross armbreaker but Show counters and pushes him out of the ring to the floor. Show walking up the ramp to the back. Sheamus from behind and a  brawl ensues as he kicks Sheamus down and walks back up the ramp. The entire roster then walks out and Show backs up as they all toss him back in the ring. Del Rio with the emziguri. Sheamus with The Brogue Kick and Del Rio and Sheamus stand over a fallen Big Show to close out the final Smackdown of 2012
