The Boogeyman's appearance at the Slammy Awards edition of WWE Raw this week may not be his last appearance with WWE, as officials were thinking about having him work a dark match at the Tuesday night tapings, although this did not happen. But apparently his name was first brought up a couple weeks ago and WWE Chairman & CEO Mr. Vince McMahon was said to be more than happy to bring him back, at least for Monday's Raw. So as of last word, the door may be open for him to return in some capacity, at least every now and then.

Tommy Dreamer's return was said to be a last-minute decision and he reportedly didn't even get the call until rather late on Monday. However, Dreamer has reportedly been at WWE Headquarters a few times over the past few months and he currently has a good relationship with WWE officials, leaving the door open for him to make more appearances in the future.

There is a feeling backstage that John Cena cannot be placed in a long-term romantic relationship on television simply due to his popularity with WWE's female audience. WWE officials are well aware of how popular the 12-time WWE World Champion is with female members of the WWE Universe, and they want him to continue to be a strong draw to the female demographic by not having him appear to be "taken" on television.
