WWE Elimination Chamber 2012 Results (2/19)

We kick off the PPV with a video package highlighting the Road To Wrestlemania and the final stop on the way there which is the Elimination Chamber or, as it is affectionately known, “Satan’s Playground”.  We welcome you to Elimination Chamber and we are live from Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the Bradley Centre. 

WWE Championship: Elimination Chamber: CM Punk vs Dolph Ziggler vs R-Truth vs Chris Jericho vs The Miz vs Kofi Kingston

One by one the participants are introduced and the final two participants who will start this match are CM Punk and Kofi Kingston.   Punk and Kingston lock up and Kingston has the side headlock on Punk, lrish whip and Kofi leapfrogs over the rope to the outside of the ring.  Back in the ring,  Punk kicks Kofi and delivers knee strikes to Kingston.  Irish whip, sunset flip by Kingston 2 count only and a series of reversals by both Punk and Kingston for nearfalls.  GTS but Kingston delivers an elbow.  Irish whip by Punk, Kingston back with a flying elbow and 2 count on Punk.   Kingston going for the Boom Drop but Punk counters.  Punk on the outside, Kingston tries to suplex him back in but Punk with the suplex, Kingston flips over back suplex on the grate.  Punk back up, knocks Kingston down slingshots him into the Plexiglas.  Punk picks him up and suplexes Kingston.  Punk tosses Kingston back in, launches himself over the ropes onto Kingston and a 2 count.  Slam by Punk and again 2 count.  The clock counts down and out of the pod and into the match is Dolph Ziggler who goes right after Punk.  And Ziggler pulls him through the ropes rubbing Punk’s face against the chain link fence.   Fireman’s Carry and Ziggler takes time out to show off.  Punk back in and Ziggler for the cover 2 count.  Irish whip and a double knee by Ziggler.  To the opposite corner and Ziggler goes for a splash but misses.  Kingston recovers and takes Ziggler out with a clothesline. Standing dropkick by Punk.  Ziggler again with the irish whip but Kingston gets the boots up.  Kingston to the top and mid air collision and all three are down.   The clock counts down as Punk covers Kingston but only a 2 count.  And R-Truth is the fourth man in and right after Ziggler and Ziggler lands to the outside hard.  Truth flies over the top rope onto Ziggler.  Ziggler back in the ring but gets nailed by a dropkick and a 2 ½ count on Ziggler.  Punk whips Truth into the corner.  Truth kicks him, Truth to the top, Punk with a superplex and 2 count.  Kingston goes for Trouble In Paradise, misses, Punk sends him flying.  Punk to the top rope and a flying elbow onto Truth and the cover for the 3 count.   Ziggler with the roll up and 2 count.  Kofi rolls up Ziggler.  Ziggler kicks out, Kofi tosses him through the ropes, Kofi covers Punk and a 2 count.  Kingston leaps from the ring onto the chain link fence and a DDT onto Ziggler.  The clock counts down and out comes Miz and he goes after everyone.  Clothesline into Punk in the corner and he goes after Kingston on the outside.  Slam down onto the grate by Miz.   Miz going after Ziggler.  Cover on  Ziggler kick out at 2.  Outside the ring, Miz drives Kingston into the Plexiglas.   Kingston on the top rope and Miz nails him.  In the ring, Miz covers Kofi but 2 count only.  Clothesline on Punk.  One more time but Punk goes for GTS.  Miz counters, cover on Punk 2 count only.  Ziggler and Kingston both down and Miz is wearing Punk down.  Neckbreaker by Punk.  Miz rushes at Punk, powerslam by Punk the cover and 2 count, Punk locks in the Anaconda Vice as the clock counts down and out comes #6 Chris Jericho and Jericho and Punk facing off.  Whip and clothesline to Punk.  Cover by Jericho and a kick out.  Punk with kicks but Jericho blocks,  Jericho goes for the Walls but Punk counters.  GTS, countered by Jericho, running bulldog, Lionsault cover on Punk.  Ziggler going for the pin, Jericho kicks out hits the Code Breaker and picks up the 3 count and Dolph Ziggler is eliminated.  Irish whip by Jericho, Punk ducks takes Jericho’s legs out and slingshots him over the top.  Punk ramming Jericho’s head into the chamber door.  Thumb to the eye by Jericho.  Jericho in a corner and Punk delivering knee strikes.  Jericho elbow to the eye and Jericho using the Chamber to his advantage to punish CM Punk.  Jericho after Kingston pushing him into the chamber door.  DDT on Kofi by Jericho.  Miz sneaking a pin on Jericho, Jericho kicks out.  Miz punching and kicking Kingston.  Miz going for his clothesline, Kingston with the double kick.  Going to the top rope, Miz cuts him off and Punk from behind with a powerbomb on Miz into a cover and 2 ½ on Miz.  Kingston from the top of the pod onto Miz.  Cover on the Miz and Miz kicks out.  Jericho locks the Walls on Kingston and Kingston is eliminated but doesn’t release the Walls just yet.  Until the referee intervenes.   Jericho continuing the attack on Kingston.  Jericho tosses Kingston out of the Chamber, Punk from behind kicks Jericho in the head and out of the chamber.  The referees are checking on Jericho as the match is momentarily stopped.  Jericho is out and it’s down to Punk and Miz, Punk hits the high knee.  Punk goes for running bulldog, Miz counters.  Miz waits for Punk to get up, Miz with the SCF on Punk and a 2 count.  Punk kicks out and Miz continues the assault. Miz goes to well one too many times, Punk moves out of the way, Miz hits his head against the pod and walks into a GTS.  3 count by Punk and CM Punk holds onto the WWE title.

WWE Divas Title: Beth Phoenix vs Tamina Snuka

Beth is holding the ropes open telling Tamina to get out of her ring and Tamina just stands there.   Irish by Tamina, Leapfrog by Beth.  And Beth is down.  Quick cover and 2 count.  Tamina picks Beth up, and drops her on her face.  Tamina going for the superfly splash but Beth cuts her off and dumps her to the outside.  Beth follows outside and lands mounted punches.  Beth back in and Tamina rolls back in.  Beth driving elbows into Tamina.  Picks her up and slaps a reverse chinlock on Tamina.  Tamina breaks the old but Beth grabs her hair and whips her backwards to the mat.   Dragon sleeper submission on Tamina.  Tamina fights back and a samoan drop on the Glamazon.  Tamina going to the top and again Beth cuts her off,  Beth up on the top, hooks Tamina up and a superplex by Beth Phoenix to Tamina.  Beth to her feet first, kicking and punching Tamina and now both divas trading blows and Tamina getting the upper hand.  Clothesline by Tamina.  Beth in the corner, big splash by Tamina.  Tamina going up to the top, third time is the charm as she hits the superfly splash but Beth kicks out.  Tamina going to the top once more and Beth Phoenix rolls out of the ring.  Tamina tosses her back in, going after Beth but Beth tosses her into the corner.  Beth with the Glam Slam and she picks up the 3 count

Santino is still doing his Rocky training

John Laurinaitis comes out with his legal advisor David Otunga and says that Theodore Long should be subject to the same job evaluation he had to go through saying he’s received several complaints.  Alberto Del Rio’s music hits and out comes the former WWE Champion.  Del Rio calls Teddy Long a disgrace and a piece of trash.  He says he thinks Laurinaitis should be the permanent GM of both Raw AND Smackdown.  Mark Henry then makes his way out.  Henry says Teddy Long is a bully saying he physically assaulted Henry two weeks ago and just like a good guy he fell for it and was suspended.  Henry says not once has he seen Laurinaitis abuse his power and like Del Rio he agrees that Laurinaitis should be the GM for both Raw and Smackdown.  Out comes Christian.  Christian says no one knows Teddy Long better than him and if it weren’t for Long he’d be competing for the World Heavyweight Title tonight.  Unlike Randy Orton, Christian’s were real yet Long still forced him to compete citing an unsafe work environment.  Laurinaitis poses for a photograph with Del Rio, Henry and Christian.

Backstage:  Josh Matthews is with Big Show.  Show says he’s wrestled 4,000 matches, held several championships.  His immortality at Wrestlemania has eluded him.  Tonight, this is his Road To Wrestlemania and he’s walking out with the World Title.

World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber: Great Khali vs Cody Rhodes vs Santino Marella vs Daniel Bryan vs Wade Barrett vs Big Show

It is going to be Big Show and Wade Barrett starting out in this match.  Barrett with the waistlock but Show quickly takes control knocking him down with chops.  Barrett back up, off the ropes and Show downs him with a clothesline.  Mistake by Show as he ducks with Barrett coming off the ropes catching him in the face with a boot.  Barrett in control, picks Show up and rams him into the chain link.  Barrett stepping on Show.  Barrett grabbing Show’s leg but Show kicks him away.  Barrett working over the leg.  Show again counters kicking Barrett to the outside.  Show brings him in the hard way cover and a 2 count.  He knocks Barrett down.  The big slap to the chest by Show and again Show tosses Barrett over the top to the outside of the ring.  Back in the ring, the clock counts down as Show drops the leg across Barrett’s throat.  Rhodes comes out of his pod as Show looks on and Rhodes goes after Show but Show overpowers him.  Rhodes with a kick to the injured leg but Show maintains control tossing Rhodes outside and he throws Rhodes face first into the chain link fence.  Show looking for a splash but Rhodes moves out of the way.  Rhodes to the top and Show throws him off and into the fence.  Back in the ring, chokeslam by Show, Barrett counters and clips Show’s knee.  Barrett going back to work on the leg.  Show escapes by hitting Barrett with his boot.  Double team on Show and Rhodes with the cover 2 count and Barrett throws Rhodes out and he tosses him into the fence.  Rhodes up, tries to throw Barrett into the fence but Barrett blocks throwing Rhodes against the pod.  The clock counts down and out comes Santino Marella and Marella goes after Barrett.  Flying headbutt on Barrett.  In comes Big Show and he goes to work on Santino.  From behind, Rhodes with the chop block working on Show’s leg.  2 count by Rhodes.  Rhodes with a kick but Show chops him down.  Barrett back in control.  Chokeslam to Barrett but Rhodes breaks it up and double suplex to Big Show on the steel grate.  Barrett and Rhodes trying to pull him into the ring.  Rhodes and Barrett fighting and Rhodes throws Barrett off, going up top and a moonsault onto Barrett.  Rhodes after Santino and an irish whip into the chamber.  Rhodes works away on Marella and the clock counts down bringing out Great Khali  and he drop Rhodes and Barrett.  Punjabi Clutch to Barrett and Rhodes.  Irish whip, Show ducks and spears Khali covering him for the 3 count.  Show glaring at Daniel Bryan.  He climbs up onto the pod and he starts ripping the chains on the roof of the pod.  He kicks the pod and slides down into the pod and starts beating down on Daniel Bryan.  The clock counts down and Bryan escapes.  And Show catchesx up with him and throws Daniel Bryan into the pod.  Barrett back in he catches a headbutt from Show.  Show looking for the chokeslam and he hits it on Bryan and Barrett with a boot to Show.  Roll up from behind by Santino and Barrett kicks out.  Barrett tosses Santino out.  Rhodes hits Show with the Beautiful Disaster.  Picks Show up, DDT by Rhodes.  Elbow by Barrett and Rhodes covers Show for the 3 count.  Santino from behind, rolls Rhodes up and picks up the 3 count.  Rhodes hits Cross Rhodes on Santino.  Barrett back in, covers Santino and kick out by Marella.   Barrett tosses him out throws him into the chamber.  Barrett locks Santino against the chamber and a kick to Marella.  Bryan and Barrett trading blows.  Winds Of Change by Barrett but Bryan counters into a submission.  Barrett counters  but Bryan kicks him away.  Barrett on the top rope and a clothesline to Barrett.  Outside, powerbomb to Daniel Bryan against the Chamber.  Barrett squeezing Bryan’s head between the pod door.  Cover and a kick out.  Wasteland by Barrett but Marella holds on.  Barrett off the rope and the big boot to Santino.  Barrett focusing on Marella, Bryan on the top rope, knee to the head and he tosses Barrett into the pod.  Bryan on top, Barrett counters and he punches Bryan.  Bryan falls backwards into the pod, Barrett on the top rope, Wasteland but it’s stopped by Marella.  Marella on the top rope.  Barrett blocks it and Santino falls off.  Barrett with the elbow, Santino rolls out of the way.  Headbutt by Marella, cover on Barrett and a 3 count.  It’s down to Santino Marella & Daniel Bryan.  Sambo Throw by Marella.  Bryan back up, whip to Santino kick in the corner and Bryan back in control.  Bryan delivering those kicks to Santino, Santino keeps coming back, cover by Bryan and Marella kicks out at 2.  Charge by Bryan nobody’s home, roll up by Marella,  suplex.  Bryan up top, and he misses.  Marella setting up for the Cobra and he hits the Cobra but Bryan kicks out.  LeBell Lock on Marella and Marella taps

The winner of the match: Daniel Bryan!!!!

Sheamus comes out and gives the WWE Universe his answer as to which title he will be going after. He's coming for Daniel Bryan's title at Wrestlemania.

Backstage: Natalya and Hornswoggle are eating cheese and Natalya farts yet again.  Vickie Guerrero comes in with Jack Swagger and they start bullying Hornswoggle until Justin Gabriel comes in.  Teddy Long makes a match for tonight for the US Title: Jack Swagger vs Justin Gabriel.  Swagger says he agrees with the others Teddy Long does abuse his power and only one man should be running both Smackdown and Raw.  Long says Swagger’s right and that man is Teddy Long

We see a commercial for the new Rock DVD coming out

US Title: Jack Swagger vs Justin Gabriel

Waistlock by Swagger and Swagger on the attack.  Irish whip, Gabriel with a kick but Swagger takes control again.  Swagger Bomb by Swagger and elbows to the side.  Snapmare by Swagger.  Submission hold, Gabriel back to his feet and Gabriel drops the elbow across the neck.  2 count by Gabriel.  Gabriel springboard crossbody and 2 count.   Gabriel off the ropes and a dropkick to Swagger.  Swagger outside, Gabriel with a suicide dive.  Gabriel tosses him back in, Swagger back in control drops Gabriel and slaps the ankle lock on and Gabriel taps.

We see video of the feud between Kane and John Cena leading to tonight’s Ambulance Match.

Ambulance Match: John Cena vs Kane

Cena starts punching and kicking Kane but Kane quickly takes control and to the outside early on in the match.  Cena throwing Kane into the side guardrail Kane gets back up and punches Cena.  Kane opening the doors of the ambulance taking the stretcher out.  Kane turns his attention back to Cena continuing the attack.  Cena back in control hitting Kane with the orange board.  Kane comes back with a palm strike to the throat dragging Cena back to ringside.  Cena whips Kane into the steps.  Cena back in, Kane hits another palm strike to the throat.  Irish whip and a big boot to Cena.   Kane tries to drag Cena out of the ring but Cena kicks him away.  Kane back in, right hand after right hand to Cena.  Whip into the ropes and a clothesline by Kane. It’s a slugfest now between Kane and Cena and Cena off the ropes but Kane catches him with a side slam.  Kane to the top.  Cena back up and catches Kane with a dropkick.  Cena with the shoulderblock off the ropes,  five knuckle shuffle coming up.  AA coming up Kane counters it and knocks Cena out.  Cena bing pulled out of the ring by Kane.  Kane going under the ring pulling out a wheelchair.  Kane picks up a limp John Cena placing him in the wheelchair, wheeling him up the ramp.  Cena fighting out of it but Kane puts the suffocator on Cena.  Cena counters with a kick and a punch.  Cena throws Kane into the side of the ambulance, grabbing the wheelchair he picks it up and nails Kane in the head with it.  Cena dragging Kane over to the wheelchair and Cena wheels him towards the edge of the stage.  Cena picks him up but Kane throws a right.  Kane with a metal object hitting Cena with it.  Steel chair by Cena to Kane.  Kane is down.  Kane picks him up dragging himnear the audio equipment.  Kane fights back.  Irish whip by Kane, reversed by Cena and Kane goes flying over the barricade.  Cena grabs the mic and nails Kane in the head.  He grabs the monitor and right off the skull of Kane.  Cena clearing the announce table.  The steel steps off the skull of Kane.  Cena waiting for Kane to get up, picks him up on his shoulders walks up the steps but Kane from behind, chokeslam through the announce table.  Kane walking up the ramp setting up the stretcher bringing it down to ringside.  Kane placing Cena on the stretcher, wheeling him up.  Kane throws Cena in the ambulance, he closes the doors but Cena kicks the one door open, slamming Kane’s head into the the ambulance door.  Cena climbing up onto the roof.  Cena blow after blow on Kane. Chokeslam attempt by Kane but Cena counters, Cena has him on his shoulders and he delivers the AA from the top of the ambulance.  Cena climbs down, drags Kane by the ambulance, puts him in the back of the ambulance and closes the doors as the ambulance drives out of the arena. As Cena stands in the ring celebrating.
