Former WWE Money In The Bank winner, 2011 Royal Rumble winner, and two-time WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio is said to be not very popular backstage in WWE for a number of reasons.

Ever since joining the roster, Del Rio has presented himself as being a backstage politician and he apparently thinks that he is a major star.

Del Rio has also publicly stated that he is not fond of many of his co-workers, including Mike "The Miz" Mizanin, who Del Rio has admittedly threatened to physically harm.

However, WWE officials believe that Del Rio has a good look, and they are also eager to have more Hispanic wrestlers and characters on WWE programming. Hence the reason why Alberto's behavior and arrogant personality is being somewhat tolerated.
