Nobody knows exactly why Vince Russo parted ways with TNA Wrestling a week ago but he was said to have become unhappy because he had lost power of the creative direction of TNA, which was being determined, by Bruce Prichard and Eric Bischoff.

Russo's departure was kept from talent and those who asked never got a definitive answer until the official announcement on 2/14 at the television tapings in Orlando.

Upon the announcement, David Lagana was announced as Director of Creative Writing, a former WWE head writer himself for the SmackDown and ECW brands. Prichard and Bischoff will remain in overall control of creative and give the nod for pushing certain talent and angles.
