Smackdown concluded their first weekend of the new year with a house show in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with the following results

*Hornswoggle came out to open the show and got the crowd all pumped up.  Good reaction for Hornswoggle.  But the cheers quickly turned to boos as soon as Cody Rhodes came out and attacked him.  Rhodes got on the mic and began to insult everyone stating that HE was smackdown.  This drew even more boos from the crowd.  Ted DiBiase came out to help Hornswoggle as Rhodes exited the ring.  Jinder Mahal came out next

1. Ted DiBiase d. Jinder Mahal

A good back and forth match with Mahal garnering alot of heat.  DiBiase started a "USA" chant prior to the match.  DiBiase won the match via pinfall after hitting his Dream Street finisher.

2. Ezekiel Jackson & Trent Barreta d. Drew McIntyre & Husky Harris

Another good match with alot of back and forth from both sides.  Jackson picked up the win for his team with the Torture Rack on McIntyre.

3. Hunico d. Tyson Kidd

The crowd was loving Tyson Kidd in this match while Hunico drew some heat.  Hunico picked up the win with some assistance from Camacho after hitting his version the Swanton.

Cody Rhodes came back out to another round of boos.  This brought out Justin Gabriel to set up the next match

4. Intercontinental Title Match: Cody Rhodes d. Justin Gabriel

Rhodes picked up the win after hitting Cross Rhodes on Gabriel.  After the match, he attacked Gabriel which brought out DiBiase and Hornswoggle for the save.  Rhodes then took all three finishers.

5. Natalya d. AJ (w/Aksana as special referee)

Natalya won after bother her and Aksana jumped AJ.  This brought out Alicia Fox & Tamina to make the save for AJ.

6. No DQ: Sheamus d.  Wade BarrettB

Barrett came out to gloat about taking out Randy Orton which got him tons of heat from the crowd. Sheamus  received the biggest reaction of the night.  This match went back and forth with Sheamus taking a beating with a steel chair and kendo stick.  Sheamus, however, picked up the win in this one after hitting The Brogue Kick

7. World Heavyweight Title: Daniel Bryan vs Big Show (Steel Cage)

Not a big reaction for Daniel Bryan but rather a little heat here and there.However, the crowd popped huge for Big Show.  Good match with Barrett and Mahal opening the steel cage door and attacking Big Show while Bryan crawled out to retain his title. Sheamus came back out to assist Show
