CM Punk Announces He's Leaving WWE

CM Punk has just announced on tonight's edition of WWE RAW that he will challenge John Cena for the WWE Championship on July 17, 2011 at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event.

Punk also stated that this is the same day that his WWE contract expires, and he has said that regardless of whether or not he wins the WWE Championship, he will be leaving WWE.

It has been speculated for some time now that Punk would be taking time off from WWE once his contract expired, but with this announcement tonight, it appears as though Punk will officially finish his run with WWE on this date.
