WWE Hall of Famer Bobby "The Brain" Heenan Hospitalized

- Lanny Poffo announced on his podcast this past week that WWE Hall of Famer Bobby "The Brain" Heenan had been in and out of a coma at a Tampa, Florida hospital and isn't doing good at all.

Heenan was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2002 which he largely recovered from but drastically altered his appearance in terms of weight loss he went from 246 lbs. to 190 in a matter of several months. In December 2007, Heenan had reconstructive surgery on his jaw and several other plastic surgeries to reconstruct facial features.

The reconstructive surgery left Heenan unable to verbally communicate although in recent years he has been able to regain his voice. In 2009 he was hospitalized again with a infection in his jaw which required him to miss several wrestling events.
